The OP's original point is actually very stupid and the post is written in order to convey the writer's opinion that anyone who cares about royalty or religion is stupid, bigoted and sectarian. The OP can support Rangers for whatever reason he wants but he cannot turn to a huge majority of Rangers fans and say, "Because you like Rangers as more than a football club you are a vile sectarian." Making statements like that is stupid and is trying to reduce Rangers to only about football. It actually has a far wider meaning to many people, there are many viewpoints and opinions traditionally associated with the club and accusing people of being sectarian just because they view Rangers as more than just 11 men running around a field kicking a ball once or twice a week is just plain wrong. I would like to qualify this by saying that I do not support hatred, of course I don't, but the OP seems to be saying that anyone who regards Rangers not just as a club but as an Institution does, this is simply not true.
