I’ll bet theres not many teams as composed on the ball in the SPL as they were at times. They definitely passed through it a few times with calm, quick, 1st time passes. Our press will get much better, only the 2nd game we’ve done it. Its not as easy as “run at the ball”. Got to be smarter about it and cut off angles/passes. It’ll come with time.

Panel tried to compare Coulibaly with McGinn and Gerrard shot them down. Said he is nothing like the players in Scotland and he will match the tarrier midfielders. I think Coulibaly will be a really decent signing, based on the videos I’ve seen of him (which show the good & bad side) He’ll be well suited to Scottish football & the style we’re playing. He has some work to do on the technical side of the game, capable of really good & pretty poor aspects on the ball. However he looks superb in the tackle, big, powerful, pacey, athletic & full of energy.

You think its the same thing to use a photo of him in a strip of a club he is most commonly associated with (I couldn’t name another club he played for) and was at for 8 year, to using a photo of him in a Rangers top, who he has zero association with, in a paper that Rangers fans boycott? The formation rotated throughout the game, was very fluid. Arfield mentioned he has played against that type of system before and it wasn't nice.

I think he'll be our back up left winger this season. Was really impressed. Tight ball control, quick, whips in a fantastic cross, can beat a man & is physical too. Really stocky & strong.
