  1. Count up the medals, and compare to other Rangers legends. How many legends were part of 3IAR?
  2. Chateau Neuf de Pape for me. I'm considering it to be a form of communion on this Sabbath. The missus is making me a piece to complete the ceremony.
  3. He's a Proddy all right. He was sashing it up with the best of them that night.
  4. From now on I'm going with my gut feeling. I knew he was a fucking pape, and gave him the benefit of the doubt.
  5. Davie didn't believe I was old enough to have watched him play, when I met him at an RST dinner. For that alone, I won't hear a word said against him.
  6. Nigel Spackman was an inspired buy for Rangers. As a defensive midfielder, we haven't had many better. Quietly efficient, and as dependable as they come. Consistency personified into the bargain.
  7. I thought this thread was going to be about Lennon's Y fronts before I opened it.
  8. I'm on record as saying that big Lee would get Ally the sack if he kept playing him in midfield. However, today's performance was akin to that of Daniel Cousin when he battered the sellik defence into submission, and all that was missing for his efforts was a goal. McCulloch pummelled that lot today. Add to that the fact he offered to play for nothing, and Jig gets a new found respect from me. Well played big man.
  9. Of course, I meant to say Rhys McCabe in the OP. Never mind. Even though it was young McCabe who actually lit the blue touch paper on his career today, Little didn't do himself any harm by taking his chance when he came on.
  10. He played like Paul Scholes today. Superb.
  11. At 3-0 against 9 men we should have been looking at scoring 5 or 6. Those 2 at the back, Goian and Bocanegra, slow our tempo down to a fucking crawl when they are on the ball. They do my tits in.
  12. That's what happens when you don't keep the tempo up and grind teams into the ground. We've got lazy players who don't want to do any more than necessary...especially at the back.
  13. I'm not too confident about the coaches myself mate, however the DJ and Parlane we seen at the start were nowhere near the players we remember now. They were young raw boys who turned their worlds upside down with magical moments in one off games. Someone will do the same again at some point, and I hope it is Andy tomorrow.
  14. The fans need hope to go forward with, so Ally SHOULD take a chance with the boy, in the hope that he has a glory moment (or two) that gives us something to cling to for the future. Playing Lee up front himself would not only be tactically wrong, but would not provide any hope for the future, even if he managed to bag a goal. We need a young hero to do the business today.
  15. In his short time (recently) he's scored goals, and he's created goals. He has also been unlucky a few times with chances he's had. DJ and DP defined themselves and their future in one game apiece. I just think that Little has it in him to do the same and march on.
  16. We have seen it before, where a player gets a few games, he does reasonably well, and then is thrust into a gigantic game to see what he's made of. DJ and Derek Parlane are 2 of those who took the bull by the baws, and rocketed themselves into a Rangers career of glory and success. I hope to God that Super gives Andy the chance to do the same thing today, and that he grabs it with both hands. He's already shown that there is something about him, and today could be his career defining game, given the chance.
  17. I do not answer ze questions Englander. I am asking ze questions.
  18. I've just heard that Ally read this 5 minutes ago, and is trying to get it put into place for the game.
