  1. If it is the one I am thinking about it used to be in Lugton on the road between Irvine and Barrhead. Think it is called the Canny Man now.
  2. Bit of an anti-climax for you but I met wee Dick on PRW.
  3. I met Numan at Schiphol and had a right blether with him. Cracking lad and could not have been more pleasant. Also met Big Bertie at Schiphol too. The big man looked totally bewildered when I congratulated him for scoring that goal against them. It might have happened over 10 years ago but I was talking about it as if it was yesterday. Advocaat was a gentleman too when I met him.
  4. At some stage during his career, at club level and/or international, he is or has been teammates with: Mignolet, Gerrard, Milner, Muntari, Gyan, C. Ronaldo, Ozil, Chicarito, Pique, Hart He has also been managed by Roy Hodgson. He has won the EPL & and FA Cup
  5. I have witnessed a couple of supply teachers getting destroyed in Kilwinning Academy. Kilwinning weans can be relentless, especially the Blacklands and Corsehill kids of my age.
  6. Sailing from Norway to U.K. Will be halfway there at kick off. Telly better still be working
  7. My dilemma now is I have left oor George out.....he will just have to hunt me down for his donation.
  8. Received my badge this morning so a perfect opportunity for a wee bump.
  9. Would have been awkward picking a favourite so gave a bit to all three. Good effort lads
  10. Were you at Pittidrie 2007ish? Friendly v South Africa, Kris Boyd came on as a sub, was booed. Was at the game with a scouser workmate and had to explain to him why they were booing one of their own players. Who scored the winner that night?Yip, Boydie. Scumbags were not booing him then. That was the last Scotland game I attended. Doubt I will ever attend another in my lifetime.
  11. I think you will see that lot were out of the stands when their player was celebrating the 4th goal. Might not have made it onto the pitch but they were certainly not contained. Exuberance or the craic, you can decide?
  12. You are certainly not a bear with the shite you are talking
  13. They will be watching him however they will say it is only over-exuberance. That will make it all alright.
  14. I thought that was the Hearts manager Neilson at first look
  15. In Orlando Airport waiting to come home and there is a vagrant strolling about in his manky top. He must have just seen the result as he went and got changed into a much less offensive t shirt. Probably first time the rat has had the thing off in a fortnight. Gonnae be a shite flight home for him, fuckin fuming. Ha ha ha ha
  16. Iceland & Portugal @ 7/2 Belgium & Italy @ 11/10 Germany & Poland @ 6/5 Czech Republic & Spain @ 7/2 England & Slovakia @ 9/2 France & Romania @ 5/2 Did any 5 from 6 & accumulator (dual forecast). If all 6 come in pays over £10k for my 14quid. Paddy Power are doing an offer bet £25 on top goalscorer and they will give you £5 free bet for every goal they score. Was thinking Giroud at 16/1 was not a bad price but they have Griezmann, Payet and Martial as well.
  17. Mate of mine is a Spurs fan and he has been to hospitality at many grounds in both Scotland and England. He reckons ours is far and away the best he has been to.
  18. Cannae believe there are two munters that would let him anywhere near them
  19. No live broadcasts from games, usually because the guys are at the games as fans. Where possible there is a pre-match and post match show usually for about an hour each. You should try to listen in, it really is all about the Rangers.
  20. Totally agree, my wee mans first season as a ST holder was the year in the bottom division. It was easy to get two seats together then (in fact he got the seat next to mine which was a result), not so sure that is the case now. It was hard to keep him interested through some of the last few seasons but the wife was telling me he had the party tunes blaring whilst he was getting ready for school the other day and at the weekend he always wants to get the full strip on. Healthy crowds, decent atmospheres and entertaining football this year have won him over. Kids nowadays seem to follow the fashion of Barcelona, Man Utd or Chelsea etc but for him it is only Rangers. Was worth the effort. I hope the club keep the kids tickets sensibly priced because as you say it is important that we ensure they follow on.
  21. Tried my best to stay away from this subject of buying or not buying the strips........when you have kids you will understand that they are not in least bit interested in the scraps between Mr King & Ashley/SD, they just want the strips as soon as they see their pals or the players in them. I know it probably makes no real difference but I have bought the strips in the past from sports shops other than Sports Direct....does that make any real difference? I assume Ashley makes his mark up from the retail deal however he will not make his mark up from buying from his store, am I correct? Maybe my logic is foolish, but I avoid they shitholes of stores anyway, nothing more than a jumble sales of tatty tripe.
  22. Great article again from VB. Lets hope the club are doing their bit here. Make it clear, to not only that rag, but also the fans where they stand. Tell the fans that we are no longer engaging dialogue with them and there is no point buying it/viewing it. Also our senior officials at the club with business interests should pull their advertising. A strong message needs to be sent.
