Whilst we continue to play in the Scottish Leagues there is no requirement to increase our capacity.

You deserve some of those shifty eye things.

If this "bombscare" keeps having clean sheets and makes saves like he did yesterday then he will do for me.

Something Bothered Me About The Hibs Game.

I have not seen much written or said by Mr Park except this (lifted from Twitter) "So we should now discard this notion that we are victims because the truth is we have not been defeated. We are still here. We are still standing. We are still Rangers and let no one forget we have a long, long history of victory"

Douglas Park has been involved with our club for many years and has likely invested more money over the years than we would have expected. I was happy to see he became more involved recently as I believe he would only have had best intentions for our club (there is no doubt he is a real Rangers man and is well aware of our traditions and the standards we set), I hope that this continues with his son replacing him on the board. I do not know his personal circumstances or reasons for resigning however I thank him for his support over the years and wish him all the best for the challenges he may have ahead.

Can I vouch for GB's ticket re-allocation scheme? I have provided my details to GB a few times and I understand the seats were used by veterans/combat stress (or hero's). It is a simple task which can be done through PM on here and is managed and co-ordinated very well by GB. Can I also clarify that placing your tickets with the club for resale is only done once all the public sale tickets are gone so you know it makes sense to provide the opportunity for a wee day out (with hopefully better fitba) for deserving and appreciative friends from Erskine.

Nearly time for school uniforms again, maybe should have kept that money handy

They were very tired towards the end, several players with cramp, the big CF's legs were gone. That shows how much effort they put into the game. Can we say the same about our players? Law, for one, will definitely not be suffering this morning.

£20 donated GB. Great effort again GB and a smashing response from all the bears in such a short space of time. Well done everyone ?? -
As I said I will keep my criticisms for enemies outside Ibrox and continue to support my team, old players and new. I have more interesting things to do than track movements of former players to be able to stand proud decrying them at the next available opportunity.

Well said. I often think some guys think it makes them better supporters or just a wee bit different to slag our own players. Football clubs are no different to anywhere else, personality clashes, wee cliques etc may lead to a player getting left on the sidelines. Sometimes you will never know why some player did not do as well as some others. I loved watching Negri for that short time we had him at the top of the game and I am gutted it never worked out. Nowadays he may have had time to reflect on his career and maybe he has some regrets, who knows......as far as the "I have got a book out, lets milk the fans" I think he has been doing youth work (soccer camps in Oz) with us for the past few years and is planned to do some later this year so maybe there is a wee affinity there. I know if I had a budding striker for a son I would have him signed up immediately because if he could learn a wee bit from Negri about movement and thinking around the box then it would be worth every penny and every minute. It is also worth remembering that he turned up for Fernando's match and has been involved in other fund raising campaigns for the same cause so he can't be all bad. One player I never took too was Weiss yet there seems to be a serious love in for him amongst sections of the support. He is not one of my favourites but I would never slag him or bad mouth him......for me that is the work of the unwashed and I will keep my criticisms for our real enemies.

I used the term goalscorer because I believe Negri could not be equalled when it comes to finishing a chance. If you are talking about a striker who could create a chance from nothing and finish it off then I would agree with you that Mols was the boy for that. We were so lucky to have some special players coming through the doors at Ibrox during that time however we were just as unlucky that we never got to see some of those players in full flight over an extended period (including Negri and Mols).
-
In my opinion Negri was the most talented goal scorer I have seen in a Rangers team. There is no way he should be described as a legend but I am disappointed his career turned out the way it did. When Marco was one on one with the goalie, the keeper tended to be picking it out the net, you could not say the same about our greatest goal scorer who probably missed as many as he scored. As far as his book goes, I would give it a read to see if there is anything telling us where it went wrong. I will not go out and buy it however I reckon I will end up getting it as a present from the wife/bairn at Christmas time.

You on the right forum?

Yes Lintero I was there. He is our most dominant defender and is willing to try a cute pass (which some of those came off today) instead of an aimless punt up the park, which have been mentioned plenty of times on here. He appears to be an easy target (either him or Jig are the popular choices at the moment) and his good points are rarely mentioned. My reference to Amo earlier was intended to highlight that the big man had proper heart in the mouth moments but he won the fans round. I will never forget the goal line clearance (with his chest) against the rotten mob. He never got booed then. I hope Moshni gets a chance to win the fans round too.
-
I assume you were at the game today Lintero because your summary is pretty close to my opinion on Moshni today. I see he was referred to as an embarrassment earlier....nah, I would save that description for the people who chose to boo a Rangers player today.
-
I remember Amoruso getting booed by "supporters" too

A lot of you guys obviously never seen big Amoruso play.
