  1. Where did this come from? If Dessers is beating Butland regularly he should be running rampant against opposition keepers, as we certainly haven't encountered one better than Jack this season.
  2. Hearts would have demanded a high price. We spent zero on permanent signings. Says it all really. The previous incumbant blew our money on some right dummies without even bothering to research them properly. Big Phil may not have spent millions on Shankland if he had the money, but he would certainly have invested in a quality striker. I don't know why the board didn't take the gamble. It would have paid off tenfold+ if/when we win the league.
  3. The dream is over. But it certainly wasn't the best outcome. European football is the pinnacle for me. Still scunnered, but given our injury crisis it has proven one competition too many. Concentrate on the domestic treble now. That would be a fantastic achievement in itself.
  4. Was close over the two legs. Dessers was a man down tonight. Roofe did more in 15 mins than he did it 75. Feel sorry for the players who are bursting their balls whilst he just jogs about in offside positions and doesn't even bother to try and close their dodgy keeper down.
  5. Aye. He is shockingly poor with his feet and relies heavily on his defenders to push the ball forwards. Probably pass it to Dessers and he will hit it into row Z.
  6. One of my mates got 77-1 on the same bet in the bookies. Plagiarising prick!
  7. I'm going for Tav Fgs and 2-1 @ 70-1.
  8. Me too mate. Especially in Europe. Which is good as the odds are usually much better.
  9. He usually scores at least one goal over the two legs of a Euro knockout so is due a goal tonight. I will be having a wee bet on it.
  10. A fantastic stadium steeped in history and an astoundingly loud support who shake your very being to the core with their sheer volume. It's enough to make even the greatest players in the world doubt themselves. Bring it on!
  11. This. A full stand is far too big an allocation for any away team, don't mind our Rangers hating nemesis. They haven't earned special treatment. We have welcomed and beat far greater clubs than them in Europe. Quality teams who respect us and create a great atmosphere without vandalising Ibrox. We all know they will behave like animals. So pen them in as such.
  12. Glad we won, but very angry with the way the junkies acted. Seems as if they were out to injure our players knowing fine well we are fighting on 4 fronts with a depleted squad. Dirty, cheating, talentless scum!
  13. Give him a chance. He has a postgraduate degree in Bio mechanics mate. Glad I am watching on RTV now.
  14. It's a defeatist mindset imo. We should aim to win every competition that we can. I don't think any Rangers manager has ever thought that way. The league will take care of itself. Anyhow, big Phil has made it crystal clear that he won't be prioritising competitions. Anyone pushing an alternative reality is kidding themselves on. It simply won't happen. A lot of them say they don't care about certain competitions then are all over the match threads anyhow. Not to be taken seriously
  15. I have booked Monday off too. No double bookings with swimming lessons, the theatre or a heart bypass operation either. Even had my beers in the fridge for 3 days cooling down. Mr. Organised. Anyhow, 3-0 to us. A nice stress free win and stroll into the semi finals.
  16. Hopefully an easy win and no injuries. It will be Mothers' Day too people. So don't forget to pick up a bouquet of half dead flowers from your local 24 hour garage at the last minute.
  17. I can only think of one error he made in the match. I honestly didn't think he was capable of defending so well against such quality attackers. He has been playing really well the last month or so, but he went up a level against Benfica. They were asking a lot of questions of him and he had all the answers.
  18. I think our defence worked really well as a unit considering the pressure they put us under. We were just unlucky at both goals.
  19. I'm more than happy to keep him if he keeps his recent vein of form going. Not only has his defending improved, but his crossing in domestic games has improved dramatically. Can't seeing Borna getting a game the rest of the season unless it's to give Ridvan a rest.
