The funniest thing about that Portugal goal was fans saying things on Twitter like...
"That goal was on 95 minutes... Aren't soccer games 90 minutes?"....
-
Disappointed that Hamilton starts 9th. Seems Rosberg will increase his lead even further after this weekend.
-
If Kevin Muscat was playing, Alexis would have lost the use of his legs.
Muscat....They'd also be down to 10 men.
But it would still be 0-0, that's my point, lol.
-
If Kevin Muscat, Tony Vidmar and Craig Moore were in that defence... it would still be 0-0.
-
Aye, he has scored against Celtic of course. Just the one goal, but still.
He scored in Europe as well against Auxerre in France.
He should have been signed before Miller. I really don't get why we've signed Miller unless the plan is to sign Kris as well.
-
Seems like a signing to get Rangers through the championship.
Next season, we will need far better players than McGregor.
Also, he's had two very serious injuries. Will he make it through the season? debatable. Although he did play a lot last season to be fair.

Fair point, Badger. Perez does seem slightly more at fault from that angle.
But to be fair to Perez, Massa isn't on the racing line either, and Perez may have turned because he didn't trust his brakes going into the corner at pace right behind Vettel?.
Then again, Perez maybe wasn't making use of his mirrors?
Its a toughie.
-
I thought Massa was more at fault but then again they both seemed to turn towards each other.
Harsh penalty for Perez.

Shit myself with that crash at the end
So did I. That was some scary shit.
-
It's going to be an interesting start.
Hamilton will still be very difficult to defeat on this track.
-
I complained about Rangers signing Miller last time and he proved me wrong so i'm remaining neutral on this occasion.
He'll probably out-score Jon Daly and get us easily back into the Premiership and if that happens there won't be too many complaining then.
-
Walter Smith's team. (even though the defence doesn't include the best defenders Walter Smith had)
-
Cuellar's games for Rangers on the way to the UEFA Cup final were up there with the best there's ever been at central defence, and that's saying a lot because Rangers have had some excellent central defenders.
Bougherra is like a much better version of Bilel Mohsni. Very similar playing styles.

Rangers will win the league.
Sure, we'll drop a lot of points along the way, but can any of the other teams win points as consistently as Rangers over 36 games? I don't believe they can.
-
Only for one season mind !!
Agreed.
But surely Rangers, Hibs and Hearts won't be content for money they deserve going to someone like Hamilton, Ross County etc instead?
Its an outrage!

BlueAtheist: Worth a try that, really could be worth the effort, but they'd be better starting now, or very soon.
I'm sure, or at least I would hope, representatives at Rangers, Hearts and Hibs have already discussed a strategy to ensure the best possible return on any television deal.
But if it doesn't work out, ban them from Ibrox, Tynecastle and Easter Road and let the television deal collapse.
Then teams like Dundee United, Celtic and Aberdeen will come begging to the Championship teams to do a deal.
They need us. Make them agree to 50% to each league or tell them to go away!
-
Championship clubs should refuse to have their games televised until the contract is renegotiated.
Its a win-win situation. We either get more money or Premierships contract collapses.
-
You forget we now have a single league governing body, therefore any TV deal is struck by the SPFL. Clubs in the Championship cant just go and get their own TV deal. The power does not sit with the Championship, just because we, Hearts and Hibs are there.
Point taken but if Rangers, Hearts and Hibs dig their heels in, they could get Doncaster to ensure the Championship gets a larger percentage of cash. Why should the quality of the Championship subsidise teams like Aberdeen, Dundee United etc?
-
Rangers have got to get themselves out of the current television deal, leading to a collapse of the deal the Premiership has in place.
The Championship has all the power at the moment. The Championship offers a far greater value for money for the likes of Sky and BT Sport. Surely there must be a way the league can set up its own deal and leave the Premiership with nothing?......

Not surprised that Lampard and Cole have been released by Chelsea.
Lampard for Rangers? Not expecting that to happen but would be cool if it did.
I reckon Ashley Cole still has a few seasons left at the very top level. Just needs a regular start. Might end up at Liverpool.

Monaco is usually quite boring. Hopefully it will be better this weekend.
Could possibly be the track where another team finally gets a victory...
-
Hamilton and Rosberg are miles ahead already.

He said he meant Alex McLeish, not McCoist.
To be fair, Rangers won the game 2-1.
