  1. You raise some good points Dennis but what we have to remember is regardless of wether you or anyone else doesn't find them offensive, others do. Every time certain songs and or words get sung the club gets in trouble. Why continue to get the club in bother? We have plenty of songs that don't contain any offensive words, why does the atmospere go through the roof when signing the songs we shouldn't?
  2. You are linking it to a newspaper report while saying it was hushed up? Worst job I've ever seen of hushing something up in that case.
  3. Was a strange bump to be fair. Not sure it can be held against him having a stinker against Ronaldo right enough, better and more experienced full backs have been ripped apart by him.

  5. Thats nonsense to be fair. Our attendences and the records that have been set have been in numerous newspaper and news reports.
  6. He gets talked about every time he commentates on us. Surely it should be obvious by now the guy is a wank. Look who his Uncle is ffs, you have to question the guys upbrining.
  7. I honestly reckon if we had been put into Junior football this season we would still average over 40k. Hopefully this continues next season as well.
  8. I've stated on numerous ocassions that I don't think some of the songs sung really have any place within our club anymore. Not so much the songs but the lyrics themselves. I don't think modern Rangers has anything whatsoever to do with N.Ireland and its troubles. I tell you what though the atmosphere when the songs are being sung is hard to beat. As a young rapscallion back in the 80's I confess to getting caught up in it all and signing along to TBB's and so on. The atmosphere back then was at least as good as anywhere in world football. Why can't we still sing songs but just adjust the lyrics to suit modern football. Anyone who wants to still be signing about fenians and stuff are idiots. It does nothing but drags down the club and gives us a shit reputation. It's damaging and stupid.
  9. He is black himself, seems a strange thing to say.
  10. It's always nice when someone speaks some sense and not just bile because of who is involved or who the club is. It all becomes simple economics. The finance people at the club have to decide what he is worth between now and the end of his contract, they will probably take into consideration him not signing a new contract. If his commercial value and the value of what he can bring in terms of success to the club between now and the end is worth more than £55 mil then its a bad offer, if not then the offer is good. Every transfer window that passes without a new contract being signed probably takes between £5-10 million from his value.
  11. I have to disagree mate. Adequate isn't anywhere near good enough for a club who has spend around £500 million on players. Winning the league in a season that was probably the worst United performance in years wasn't great, especially as they only just won it. They have been embarrassing in Europe. Fair enough the group this year was a shocker but it's not like they only just went out, they finished rock bottom behind Ajax. The group from the year before was tough but not exactly a group of death in all honesty. A team like City should do better.
  12. I think he honestly thinks he has done a good job., The mind boggles.
  13. Fucking hell! For what reason?
  14. I can't understand the reasoning of some people to think otherwise. I would see the point if the quote was £15 million.
  15. No different from the comment you made and I'm doubting you're angry. Poofy yes but not angry.
  16. I doubt any brain is part of you spastic.
