We need to be looking at the future, and Dio is the future. Any players coming in should be bought to fit in with him.

I think when his contract was coming to an end he expected even a Burnley or a Brentford to come in for him. But, the reality is that he reaches the end of the road and only we were stupid enough to be there.

Our biggest problem if forwards that are dog shit, Dessers for example must know that he is only till someone else comes in. If we get another striker and Danilo is fit, Dessers won't even get on the bench.

Looking at our forwards I think even not match fit he will be an upgrade.

A striker who can score and isn't useless at everything and we are different team.

But players like Dessers, I have tried so hard to like him, but in all honesty only us would be stupid enough to sign him, the same with Lammers. Both add nothing, Dessers looks like some guy they have pulled out the main stand and given a job.

Clement must look at some of these players and wonder what the fuck the last manager was doing.

Honestly he is so bad. A decent striker and we are a totally different team. Another thing he does is keeps pulling players jerseys, has nobody told him that the refs check VAR and can see it.

I have 2 fukked knees and a fukked ankle, I believe my shooting is on his level or better. He should be staying back for a bit after training to work on his shooting, he always looks as if he is scuffing his foot on the ground when he shoots.

That is how I feel about the market down there, it's overpriced and I don't feel you get value for money when compared to other leagues.

I'm in full agreement with you here, our scouting is really poor and has seemed to just get worse season after season.

I have no real problem with the board, they have invested and got investment, ok maybe we want more, but you don't always get what you want and life sucks, but money has been spent. I see the issue more of money being spent on players that are garbage, over priced, or only turn up a few times a season.

Fair enough and I could be wrong, if we sign him, I hope I end up being wrong. But we have had that many players coming from the lower leagues in England who ended up being a waste of money, it just seems to a recurring thing now. I just think we might end up spending the money to get another Wes Fodringham, loved him as a guy, but he just wasn'y good enough.

Yeah I know, and sometimes you do get a bargain, Joe Aribo while not doing great at Southampton was great for us. I just feel the English Market is just over inflated with bang average players going for insane money and it is easier if you have experience with a certain market, and we were all hoping for Gio to get good players from Holland. But this is where we should have a scouting team or network looking at places in our price range who would come to us, unfortunately at the moment we cant really afford to buy players who can't perform, yet we are doing it with guys like Matondo.
