  1. In short, you don't generally get much from England unless you are paying stupid money with stupid wages. Waghorn was valued at 6 to 8 million down there, fir an example. And I have very little faith in our scouting team having the ability to uncover hidden gems all over the place. We would be best looking at leagues where you get better value for money and the fees aren't inflated.
  2. Fair enough, and I could be wrong. But a decent loan at Killie and he could have played for worse teams doesn't fill anyone with confidence.
  3. A player sitting in the middle of nowhere who was tipped to be a great player years ago when he was younger, sounds like a Ross Wilson target. No doubt we will pay double what he is worth and he will be gash as you are more than likely getting garbage from England unless you are dealing in the 10s of millions.
  4. Yeah we have pissed a good wad of money in the wind. A mixture of overpaying for players and wages for guys who never or will never contribute anything positive, or guys who have a body that refuses to stay in shape.
  5. He just wasn't very good TBH.
  6. I honestly think some of our players, most notable our captain has a loser mentality, and I believe that their loser mentality gradually gets worked into anyone we sign. When we a club wins a league they build and get better, ours just seem to have got a bigger loser mentality. Raskin is playing well, 6 months from now he will just be another loser shitebag like Tav.
  7. For me the last straw was the ST Johnstone game where he managed to fuck up a 10 yard pass, which has become the normal for him now, he hit the ball 5 yards to a ST Johnstone player, but rather than fight to get the ball back or chase the ST Johnstone player - he just tossed his arms up in the air and stood still while they went up the park and scored.
  8. Thats like that time Aberdeen signed that Bulgarian guy who played in Cyprus, they signed him because he kept Gazza quiet for a full game. Turned out the guy was piss poor and the Gazza game was 1 of his sparse good games.
  9. Hindsight is a great thing and many of us aren't tactical geniuses, but let's be honest here, most of us looked at the 2 of them starting and knew we were going out there handicapped. Loads of folks I spoke to before the game said they shouldn't be playing, so if plebs like me and my mates could see them starting as being a disaster - why can't a professional football manager see it. Starting those 2 was a mind boggling decision, but to then watch the shit show they were giving for a full 45 minutes, then send them back out was criminal. And that's not taking into account the countless other sub par, poor quality, half arsed performances they have been turning out for a long time now. My only fear is that he plays those 2 loosers again on the hope they come good just to prove a point, and everyone else is wrong.
  10. I think people give him a pass because of his goals, but if you're the only guy allowed to take the penalties then your numbers will be better. Good enough going forward, but in all honesty he is a weak spot defensively.
  11. I have no real beef with the board, but I feel we have a real problem with recruitment due to Ross Wilson who gets backing from the board that he clearly doesn't deserve. Wilson seems to have a knack of chasing injury prone players, paying over the odds for players, or signing hyped up jobbers who were looking like a future star when they were 16 or 17 years old who should really be a nobody in England's lower leagues.
  12. Kamara is the player equivalent of Aberdeen FC. Pointless, useless, pathetic, and serves no purpose in the world.
  13. Liverpool bought Davies for something like 1.6 Million, never played a game or got near the team - yet we paid nearly 4 million for him. Classic, classic, classic, Rangers transfer business. Sometime I think teams must be chuffed when are wanting 1 of their players as they know our transfer team have the bargaining ability of Rodney Trotter.
  14. Like Lundstrum he had a little patch of playing good and has been living of it ever since then.
  15. Even if he was fully fit and training, he should be no where near the team. He is a poor player out with a little purple patch in days gone by, and English 2nd division player at best.
  16. I still like Beale, but today he has to accept that he played his part. How that same midfield came out for the 2nd half is a mystery to everyone, he must have known it needed changed at half time.
  17. I heard Follow Follow admins are banning folks for saying Coward. But you are correct, he is a coward along with a few other things, like useless.
  18. When I look at Lundstram and Kamara starting, I can't see any positives from it. Like tactically, how can anyone justify the 2 of them starting, what was the thinking behind it? I make an argument for Raskin and Jack as when they are playing we are more attacking and we move forward looking to score, and I would have said that before the game. But what can Beale say about Kamara and Lundstram, what argument could anyone make to start any of them never mind the 2 of them?
  19. I hate to bang on here, but I hate Lundstram and Kamara with every ounce of strength in my body. Beale shat it playing both of them and nobody but him knows why as everyone can tell you how bad they are, mix them together and they are a joke. Look at the 2d half compared to the first, had Raskin and Jack been on from the start we would have had a good chance of winning that.
  20. Beale has to carry the blame here, his starting 11 was 1 that nobody would have picked.
  21. After watching this game, I just hope that Beale knows that Kamara and Lundstram should never play alongside each other ever again, or better yet, neither of them should play again.
