Let me give you a little history about the big Hearts crest on the floor of the home dressing room at Tynecastle.
It’s sacred. A special place where players would circle round for a final pep talk before going into battle out on the pitch. It was drummed into us by club legends no more so than Gary Locke that you don’t even WALK across the crest. So I can 100 per cent understand the fury coming out of Hearts at pictures of Rangers placing their own crest directly over the top of it for the SWPL Cup Final on Sunday.
I think it’s scandalous. Absolutely scandalous. Plenty of folk have had their say on Hearts being petty by putting out a statement criticising Rangers’ actions but let me defend the club because what happened was downright disrespectful. I’m not sure who’s responsible for it - the person in charge of the kit, a player or someone else in their group.
Could you imagine someone using the home dressing room at Ibrox and hanging their club badge directly over the Rangers crest Okay Tynecastle was a neutral venue for the day but was there a Partick Thistle badge in the other dressing room?
The fact of the matter is it shouldn’t happen and I totally understand the anger it’s caused. Listen, I’m not advocating any punishment. It was no doubt a genuine mistake brought about through inexperience and the game not being played at Hampden. But it shouldn’t happen again.
This guy has been a proper throbber for ages but that is some take on this pish 😆😆😆
I've been in the home dressing room and walked over that crest , not one of the Hearts legends said a word to me about it ( playing in a charity game) so what a load of pish .

Was watching ref watch earlier.on sky sports and Dermot Gallagher even said it's a foul to Hearts rather than a pen , the red card is a red card it's dangerous play but the Hearts one is soft but he went on to say that in the spl many similar incidents have been given as a penalty so they can't complain .

Apart from Turnbull, they got rid of deadwood. Even Turnbull only started around 1/3 of their fixtures this season.
They still have backup to their midfield 3 even with Hatate out injured and other players who could slot into that AM role.
Turnbull is their 3rd highest scorer this season 🤣

Cantwell is also playing out of position as Was Danilo yesterday. he could have fixed the balance of the team quite simply by putting Lammers out left Danilo in the middle and Cantwell where Lammers played.
The way we play natural wingers will have a field day with the space we leave by both fullbacks as Postecoglou's teams did last season.
Is Lammers a left winger ?

Think Beale will go with Lammers but I think we could do with more pace to hit on break. Dowell was no slouch for his goal yesterday so him or Sima or outside chance Matondo could be options.
Don't think Matondo is in the euro squad.

Freak first goal , he was indecisive and then when he moved for the ball he went at the pace of a snail allowing him to be closed down by maeda , if he had simply went for the ball he could have easily played it bk to Butland but like every old firm game he and Goldson just lose the plot and play like sunday league players
