Surely a club of our stature can avoid this!!! I know Whyte is bracing us all for it but it will go down as the darkest day in our history (obviously the disaster was terrible for different reasons.) I can't believe it is even an option, £18m worth of debt was very manageable for a club with our turnover so that has no bearing, the only problem is the tax bill which I don't believe will be anything like £49m, if we get away with £15m or less there is no way Whyte can put us into administration!! Whilst I am on the subject, all this guff about Murray putting us in this position is unbelievable!! When the debt was it its worst he cleared it himself!! The £30m debt was being reduced all the time before Whyte took over, the only issue has always been the tax bill!! EBT's have been used by football clubs across Europe, I am sure Man U and Arsenal settled on a bill approx. 10% of what the IR wanted, ergo we owe £5m, simples, NO ADMISTRATION!!
