Is rudiger no away to Madrid?
Is Big Shirley up to the task of replacing him, got to be looking for more than £25M if they think he can.

Probably deserves its own thread but can’t be arsed being that guy, what is Bassey’s best position? I’d even like a little poll maybe…. He’s fantastic at CB and LB. Could be argued he needs to improve aerially at CB but even that has come on leaps and bounds and you can tell that he’s targeted that for improvement. He used to get done frequently in the air and it doesn’t happen so much now. Defensively he’s a beast, it’s like taking sweets off a wean at times when you watch him. Going forward down that left hand side he equally gives the team so much. Tough call, I guess we should be grateful he’s so comfortable in both areas.
Can see Bassey ending up as the LHS centreback of a back three, would be immense there.

Good news Connor signing and with the likes of Hagi and Helander returning the gaffer can focus on his front line allowing he's aiming to play his preferred 433 system.
Thats mo taking into account any outgoing transfers that might need replacing.

Jack keeps no even making the game away on international duty, when is Ryan going to learn this clown Clarke could cost him any chance of a contract extension at Rangers.
Big fan of Jack but wake up and see that exit door getting closer and closer before it smacks you in the erse on the way out.
Time to choose club and career over playing for your country especially with that dunderheid in charge.

If we were to choose a London club to come up pre-season my choice would have bee Arsenal.
1. Rebuild some of the bridges that clown burned down selling the shares they gifted to our club.
2. Be great to see Arteta lead them out at Ibrox, bet he'd get some reception.
3 i think Arsenal would be a better test as i can see a fair few changes at Spurs over the summer.
-
Id settle for another 5-0 against Sturm Graz at ibrox

I wish it was as easy to sell players as some people think, especially when they have spent large parts of the season on the treatment table or plain old out of form.
More likely to have to pay off their contracts.

Losing your manager then within a baw hair of winning the europa league and winning the Scottish cup i would certainly say it been a success.
Gaffer definitely needs to get to the bottom of this post shutdown slump bollox though, just not acceptable.

Gio better have his bags packed and get away on holiday as soon as he can coz i dont think he's going to get that long a break before the rollercoaster of the transfer window gathers pace.

I would be more than happy to stick with McLaughlin unless we can get a better goalie without spending any money. A transfer fee on a goalkeeper would be wasted when we have other positions which need upgrading.
McLaughlin as No.1 with McCrorie as his back up.
Was highly rated as a young player but we really need to get him game time pre-season if he's to do a job for us.

Plays quite like Goldson
Souttar Bassey CB pairing for next season doesnt sound bad to me especially with Helander stiving to get that jersey back and young King in the background wanting first team action.

Jeez i hope the team are a bit more positive than some in here.
Tough as it was to lose the lads need to put it behind them and focus on securing some silverware this season.
Team had a great run in europe this season and only lost a penalty shoot out 5-4.
So glad the players have another opportunity to finish the season on a positive note

Hopefully focusses the everyone at the clubs minds we need strikers first and foremost, canny win the game if you dont stick the chances away

Theres so many what ifs, the fact is we played against a very awkward opponent who both West Ham and Barcelona couldn't negotiate a way past over two legs.
Just shows you need 4 strikers in the squad coz a wee bit of quality in or around that box and we would gave won that.

Always a gamble bringing on players for penalties, doubtless zome will say he should have been on longer others will say not at all.
What a journey theyve took us on just a shame we couldnt finish it off.
Other than the prestige we could have done with the champions league qualification but not to be.
