Assuming it's a 4-3-3 with GvB still in charge, every player available for selection after the World Cup, what line-up would you pick?

I keep hearing this same story, but seriously how many players do we expect to have back after the WC?, I have a feeling Goldson’s going to be out for a while longer, then we have Souter and Davies, how long do we expect them to stay fit, throw in Jack as well, really only leaves us with Lawrence, maybe Hagi but not holding my breath, I’m not even counting Helander and Roofe as they’re both done. makes me I’ll thinking about it.

  2. Would like to see Sands getting a decent run alongside Lundstram,he looked good against the sheep and every team needs a utility player, if he can produce that kind of performance on a consistent basis then I'd keep him, torn with Tillman will have to wait and see with him, the rest I wouldn't be sorry to see go.

BTW what is Jack's recent injury?

Yes it will m8 the trophy our rivals wanted more than any other. Do you think we'll achieve 102 points total in the league anytime soon, or go 7 games undefeated against celtic or are you happy watching us being dominated domestically and getting humiliated in Europe.

You do realize that he's not the 1st to stop that lot winning 10 IAR.

  4. What would our prospects be if we declined to join if offered? we'd fall further behind than we are doing at present, no investment, playing for scraps, I hate what money has done to football but I suppose it's called progress and if we don't do something and get left further behind then I fear for the future unless we are happy enough just playing in the SPFL.

  5. Held my tongue long enough but it looks like I'm in a huge minority who hasn't seen much in this lad, the fact that he looked good in the 2nd half IMO was down to the fact that Napoli thankfully decided to make the 2nd half a training exercise, in that 1st half he was getting torn to shreds chasing shadows, [like all the rest]as for going forward he does move quickly but he flatters to deceive, I lost count of how many times he gave the ball away, one good ball into Morelos isn't enough for me, I hope to God I'm proven wrong and with game time he makes me eat my words, but right now I don't see it.

it is what it is mate, we've seen Super Clubs like Barca, PSG and Man City take an absolute tanking in this competition in recent years, if it can happen to them it can happen to anyone.

I know mate, but most of those and some of the heavy defeats we've suffered you couldn't see coming, but in this one 5 or 6 wouldn't be unexpected.

  7.  If any of "the shite" in this league were to have a go at us ATM I have no confidence that this lot could cope.

We’re getting by in the league and cup because most of the rest are utter shite. Come up against anybody half decent and we’ll get a doing. Napoli can basically score as many as they want next week.

  8. Trying to figure out why would the yanks want to invest in an SPFL football team? and how much would they be willing to put in?, only way I think they can make money on there investment is if we were competing in the CL constantly in order to have a higher profile and make it attractive to future investors, that would mean spending a lot on players to make sure we were winning the league every year in order to qualify for the CL, I'm no expert of coarse and I say to myself I must be missing something, of course they could also just be asset strippers, still I'd like to hear their proposals before just coming out and saying fuck off!!

    Clearly injured.

Only a matter of time before he's out long term if what we've been hearing is true that he's been getting injections in order to play, it doesn't usually end well if this is the case and questions will have to be asked of the medical team.

  10. I think most of the frustration comes from offering injury prone players long contracts, I've never understood us even being interested in them in the first place, the argument I hear most is that we couldn't afford them otherwise but what is the point in having them if we only get a couple of months a season out of them? the signings of Roofe and Helander for instance had me shaking my head because I knew what would happen, great players when fit but they just disrupt the continuity after playing for what seems like a handful of games, and the genius who thought Soutar would stay fit should have been shown the door, I know his injury is different from his past problems but I'll bet a pound to a penny when he eventually gets over this one it won't take long before something else crops up and keeps him out long term.

The media access situation is contributing greatly to the situation. Davie Edgar was recently chided for asking about Davies absence from the starting line up and has now fallen in to line. In the post match press conference on Wednesday night he asked about the Motherwell game and how to raise the players' confidence 😄😄😄

Heart and Hand today has launched a defence of Gio, arguing that he has a better domestic points record than any other manager but Ally McCoist. Utterly irrelevant as all the matters is where we are in relation to celtic and they're miles ahead of us.

Just listened to their podcast there, I used to be a fan of Edgar and thought he was pretty honest in his opinions but since he"s had media access he's just become another lapdog, I couldn't believe it when he said tonight that he didn't believe that the players chucked it and his reason for saying it, fuck me that's the final straw for me, won't waste any more of my time listening to him anymore.

Totally mindless of the Club to put out that statement, 24+hours late, indeed fucking shocking.

We, as a support are hurting big time after watching OUR Club capitulate in the manner in which it did.

We are the lifeblood of the Club, we deserve better.

Was probably meant to be put out earlier but the PR department forgot all about it.
