Who's on the bench ?
-
I've given up on him ever improving his decision making, he's now played under various coaching staff and he still can't get his final ball right most of the time, I can't fault his effort and that gives him some plus points but I think until other priority positions get filled and then we can finally address the RW position with a better class of player he'll do a job for us just as long as we don't expect to much from him and accept him for the limited player he is.

He should be OK. Wright's playing as well - he'll get most of the abuse.
We are fortunate that we have a few we can sling abuse at, Wright, Borna, Davies if he plays his 1st start and is shite, see that Jack is not immune either

Moot point anyway, will be a cold day in hell if the SPFL were to assist us in any way.

Honestly don't think they are great side after watching that them last night. ill be disappointed if we don't go thro even know were 2 down. 100 percent Gio will not play so cautious. he will take the handbrake off and let us play. i thought they where mediocre. we were abysmal and created our own problems starting with the manager.
As is said before we won't see us play that bad again this season.
Thankfully they didn't have someone who could finish for them, but I was quite impressed with some of their quick movement on the wings that cut us open time after time, that will have to be sorted out for the return leg.

We seem to forget that this team finished 2nd in Belgium last season running Brugge close, so I think a lot of us underestimated them, weather that was arrogance or not I'm not sure, I'm not saying they were great but they definitely were capable.
Tactics were all wrong last night as well but considering we were missing Bassey, Aribo, Kent, Morelos, Roofe, and then add in McGregor [in euro form] and a decent CH it's hardly surprising in retrospect that we were a shadow of last years europa form, Gio also has to figure out a way of releasing Lundstram from that defensive role he plays him in, it's a complete waste of our best midfield talent.

Top scorer in europa league last year. Mental.
That CJ Novo guy [I know] was saying that he's only 4 goals off of Hatleys tally for Rangers, that's mental [if true].

The number of times he pops up at the back post, it's like he's invisible, an absolute nightmare for defenders.

Is it to late to put him up for a transfer

He was poor today mate, but he is also playing on the left when he always played on the right with Hearts.
My guess is he will not be a starter if Davies is the real deal on the left og Goldson. Time will tell.
Still doesn't excuse him for diving in to soon or not able to compete for a high ball.

Dives in to soon and gets turned easily as well as suspect with balls over the top. he better improve fast, I just hope Ben Davies is better.

Not by those who supported us back then, and those of us still living will always be grateful for his stewardship even if it was for a relatively short period of time, good to see him looking so well.

Apparently it was a legit contract he had with CFC to provide cups, trophies etc
The contract was cancelled in 2001
Though his connection to 2 prominent celtic figures who went on to become directors of his company is very suspect
I seem to remember the contract he had with them was quoted at something of around 1M for 4/5yrs for supplying plastic trophies etc, they'd have to be gold plated to be worth that.

CFC still did business with The Trophy Centre and filling Torbetts pockets throughout his sentence.
Money had to be laundered.

A wee confession is all that's required, a few hail mary's and they are absolved of all crimes, keep up to speed mate.

Many times back in the lower leagues that frustrated the fuck out of me. Calvin gave his all and he has earned his move I wish him the best because he never hid and did it all with a smile on his face. Good luck to him👍
This is something that really boils my piss with a lot of players nowadays when they do something brilliant more so when they score and then walk away with their faces tripping them, FFS would it really hurt them to smile and show some emotion?, big Calvin you could tell just loved to play and that smile would light up a room, a boy who worked his arse off and has now found a way into all of our hearts, good luck son on wherever your travels may take you.

The summer months are always an absolute riot on here mate. Meltdowns, taig infestations, the usual Castore pish. That chat on the "Them" thread with the guy saying how good the scums new home shirt looks then being outed as being 28 years old and working in a build-a-bear factory
Roll on the start of the season.
Trying to figure a way of putting a positive spin on the "bear" angle.........not happening.
