  1. The government health official is doing a great job at stopping the mutant virus, it's a shame they can't take the health risks seriously.
  2. Offt Christopher Jullien 'moved seats' on Celtic bus and forced more people into self isolation as close contacts The French defender tested positive with 13 players and three staff members deemed close contacts. By Mark McDougall --------------------- Celtic were forced to put more players into isolation than expected because Christopher Jullien didn't sit in the same seat on bus journeys, according to a report. Neil Lennon was fizzing about the amount of players and staff members who were forced to isolate for 10 days on their return from Dubai and accused the government of having an agenda against Celtic. He insisted Covid-19 protocols had changed which sparked the isolation periods and reckoned most clubs in Scotland will have been breaking them. But now the Daily Record report that Jullien moved seats on the bus and that's what led to more people being deemed close contacts after the Frenchman tested positive. After he returned the positive test, Celtic sent photographs of how the players were position on both the flight and their bus journeys in Dubai. And that small change of Jullien moving seats in different photographs meant more people had to isolate than they would have if the defender had stayed in one seat. In his incredible outburst, Lennon had said: “On the plane it was the guys that were closest to them. So all of a sudden it was two rows back, two rows forward, two rows to the side. “We were under the impression that with business class seats the distance from two seats back was pretty safe. “And some lads had to isolate because they were on buses with Christopher. “This is where I’m confused because all clubs in Scotland have been travelling up and down the country in two buses. “With these guidelines that we’re now having to adhere to it means that only three players can travel on a 52-seater bus. “So when we played Hibs last Monday we had to bus six players on two 52-seater buses. So that would mean every club in the country with say, you know, 30 people, would have to take 10 buses. “So for me the goalposts are completely moved. “And now all of sudden we adhere to all protocols, have taken photographs, adhered to every rule in place and we have 13 players, and three staff isolating for 10 days that, apart from one, are all negative. It’s absolutely preposterous.” https://www.glasgowlive.co.uk/sport/football/football-news/christopher-jullien-moved-seats-celtic-19660549
  3. He's still paid his debt to society. He must have turned a page to get the job at Livingston. I think the guy deserves a second chance before the key is thrown away.
  4. Surely if they're playing tonight the club will have to do a test after having another anonymous player test positive?
  5. He's paid his debt to society four years of a six-and-a-half-year sentence. If he fails his SFA 'fit and proper persons' test due to his past then surely Desmond and a few others should be reviewed. https://www.skysports.com/football/news/36073/12192685/david-martindale-livingston-boss-hopes-criminal-past-wont-deny-him-a-managerial-career
  6. This could get interesting. I don't think Walker should apologize, what he said was true and most of their fans think so too otherwise they wouldn't be hanging banners outside of their club demanding Lawwell and Lennon are sacked.
  7. Agreed. Lennon also said he wants an apology from Andy Walker before he or any of his players talk to Sky Sports in the near future. Wouldn't that breach their basic media requirements under the terms of their membership? Appendix 5, Section B in the SPFL rule book
  8. It's unbelievable that they took 60 people to Dubai Celtic explain why they haven't revealed identity of second coronavirus case By Aidan Smith ----------------- Neil Lennon has explained why Celtic have not revealed the identity of their second positive coronavirus case. The Hoops manager was alerted of the positive case yesterday during his press conference and he explained the situation to the media. He said: "Just to clarify we have had one other person who has been deemed positive. "We have had two out of the whole 60. I do know who it is but the person would rather remain private for now." Lennon did confirm that the positive test was a player and that he was part of the group who have been isolating due to Christopher Jullien's earlier positive result. https://www.glasgowtimes.co.uk/news/19021624.celtic-explain-havent-revealed-identity-second-coronavirus-case/
  9. TV host claims Celtic asked Hibs EIGHT times to move post-Dubai fixture before SPFL intervened By Aidan Smith ----------------- TV host David Tanner has claimed that Celtic asked Hibs EIGHT times to move their post-Dubai fixture. The match was originally pencilled in for Saturday 9 January, but the game was moved after the Hoops went to the SPFL. Last week's fixture ended in a 1-1 draw with Kevin Nisbet cancelling out an early David Turnbull free-kick. Proceedings on the pitch were overshadowed by Celtic missing 13 players and three staff members due to a positive coronavirus test in camp. On talkSPORT today Tanner shed some light on the situation. He said: “They were supposed to play last Saturday against Hibernian but the game was moved to the Monday. "They rode roughshod over due process, Celtic, because they asked Hibernian eight times to move that game to Monday night to enable them to go to Dubai. “Eight times, Hibernian said no. "So Celtic went to the SPFL, who invoked a rule that many hadn’t heard of, although they should have heard of it in fairness. And they moved the game. “Hibernian were furious about that.” https://www.glasgowtimes.co.uk/news/19021688.tv-host-claims-celtic-asked-hibs-eight-times-move-post-dubai-fixture-spfl-intervened/
  10. Agreed. Where's is Clare? What annoyed me was Lennon saying ... “There seems to be some sort of agenda being driven here. We have been decimated by these rules. I’m not convinced they’re a public health issue. It seems political". If they had followed the covid protocols to the letter then they wouldn't have been decimated. He seems oblivious to the health risk. His players have lives outside of football, they would have been spreading the virus to the general public, if the government health officials hadn't stepped in and made them isolate. I don't believe the government as an agenda against cfc, they abused the protocols set out to keep everyone safe. Now they are passing the buck by blaming the government for not stopping the trip. Do they need to be policed to follow protocols, because that's what they are saying by blaming the government. I hope the government now respond by doing the investigation that the SFA refused to do. The SFA would then be obliged to sanction their club, the same as other clubs. A part of me thinks this stand Lennon has taken is to try and get their fans onside before season tickets are due, as they have started to protest again. They are demanding Lawwell and Lennon are sacked before they will renew their season tickets. I think they'll find it hard to remove them.
  11. cfc still haven't been cited for the breaches of covid rules https://www.scottishfa.co.uk/scottish-fa/football-governance/disciplinary/disciplinary-updates/
  12. Agreed but would add they've picked a fight with the FM, they've basically said she has an agenda against them. When in reality they just don't know how to follow the rules like the rest of sport has.
  13. When there's holes in Keevin's argument he speaks each word separately.
  14. He's spot on there the covid rules should have been in place before the season started.
  15. I wish those in the lower leagues came on, to give their views on the situation, after they were muted at the meeting.
  16. Lawwell's puppets only started this N&V nonsense to get their fans onside. I think part of this is to try and deflect that their fans are protesting again, they are demanding Lawwell is sacked or resigns. Lawwell really doesn't like being called out.
  17. If that happened then it would be the first time in history both side of the old firm would be in agreement.
  18. Who was the board member. I don't recall anyone leaving?
  19. Oft directly calls Keevins out on his headline.
  20. SSB shouldn't stop their fans venting their anger on the SSB's platform, it will stop them taking sharks to Parkhead
  21. The cfc ultras have placed another banner demanding Lawwell resign or be sacked.
