  1. Over use of the whistle, which slows the momentum of the game. Wrong decisions, harsh bookings for petty infringements, lack of free kicks, penalties denied.
  2. For the last couple of seasons ref mistakes were most likely to happen after the winter break. It will be interesting to see what happens this season.
  3. For what it's worth eejay I think your correct to question everything but enjoy your time off this thread. There has to be a reason for the power shift within the refs you have spotted.
  4. Is there a reason for this? Could they be under investigation?

  6. Good interview for SSB to talk about. "I still think I'm having my leg pulled": former Mental As Anything bassist can't believe 1985 hit could be UK Christmas No.1 On Drive with Geoff Hutchison When former Mental As Anything bassist and vocalist Peter O'Doherty heard the news, he thought it was a prank. The band's 1985 pop favourite "Live It Up" took top spot on the UK iTunes charts this week, almost one year since the passing of the band's frontman Greedy Smith. Peter tells Geoff Hutchison on Drive, the timing is ironic. 7. i didn't realize the legacy shares wouldn't be owned by the fans buying them. If that's the case then club 1872 are asking for a legacy share donation. Who would be the holder of these shares? I think it would be easier to raise such a large amount of money if the fans where allowed to own the shares, for their own family legacies. Dave King would get his money back, and If someone wanted out they could put their shares up for sale with-in the group and the proxy would still be club 1872's. Once the situation at the club is normalized there'll be no need for extra resources for funding gaps and shares will gain in value. if further down the line another investor got into the position of buying the whole shareholding, the fans that have faithfully bought legacy share would at least get something back for their loyalty in building the club up. If someone was in the position to buy the whole shareholding then club 1872 wouldn't need to fund them with projects money. It's a great opportunity that Dave King has offered but I think fans need to own the shares and club 1872 need to trust the fans to proxy those shares.
  8. Agreed. This is the article I read Daily Record By Torcuil Crichton --------------------- Nicola Sturgeon told to raise the £500 NHS 'thank you' bonus and recoup the tax for Scotland Conservative Treasury Secretary Steve Barclay said the SNP Government should increase their offer instead of demanding a UK tax break. A Tory government minister has told Nicola Sturgeon to raise the value of her planned health workers “thank you” bonus to make sure staff receive the full £500 after tax. Treasury secretary Steve Barclay shot back after the SNP leader’s demand during Monday's SNP conference for the UK to waive income tax on the one-off bonus. In Westminster today, Barclay said the Scottish Government could bump up the offer and claw back the tax under powers already devolved. Barclay was confronted by SNP Treasury spokeswoman Alison Thewliss MP who said powers over tax allowances, exemptions and national insurance are reserved to the UK Government. She asked at Treasury Questions: “Will the Chancellor do the right thing and ensure this festive gift of goodwill is not clawed back by HMRC?” But Barclay had his response ready and replied: “Income tax on these payments is actually paid to Scotland, not to Westminster, and the Scottish Government has the power and the funding to gross-up the payment if it wishes.” SNP MP Tommy Sheppard also pressed on why the UK Treasury should receive a “windfall” from the “thank you” payments. Barclay replied: “While decisions to exempt these payments are reserved, the Scottish Government will keep all the income tax receipts from these payments. “So if they do wish for NHS and care workers to receive £500 net of tax, which is what they say is their wish, then they can simply increase the value of the payments going to them.” Experts at the Fraser of Allander Institute in Scotland had earlier said increasing the payment would be an easier way to guarantee the £500 payment. The think-tank suggested increasing the payment to £625 would give NHS workers the full £500 and the Scottish Government would receive the £125 back in income tax. The Institute noted there was a “healthy dose of politics” to SNP tax demands over a payment for NHS workers. Scottish Conservative leader Douglas Ross said: “The SNP have all the funding and powers they need to top up this payment today. Any extra income tax would go to the Scottish, not the UK Government, so if they increase it, no-one misses out. “Why is it that the SNP feel the need to take a £500 NHS ‘thank you’ payment and stoke up division with such a clearly political move, all to provoke a fight with the UK Government?” Willie Rennie, the Scottish Lib Dem leader, said: “SNP ministers should show more respect to NHS and care workers. They should get them the money they believe should be paid and not use them as a battering ram on the constitution." https://www.dailyrecord.co.uk/news/politics/nicola-sturgeon-told-raise-500-23098120
  9. It was something about backing the team and sacking the board protest, Hopefully it will be peaceful.
  10. Haven't the Shark brigade already said they are doing more protests?
  11. Is that the money where the Tax goes back to the Scottish Government and not Westminster?
  12. There's a risk but it's up to fans how they deal with it. If they can't sustain it then they will have to sell the shareholding to a investor they trust. Money from the shareholding can go back into the club in other ways. The thing is fans are being offered a chance, something other clubs fans only dream of.
  13. Why? The majority of fans have trusted him so far, he said he would sell them the shares at the right time for what he paid, so he's kept his end of the bargain. The fans now have to raise the cash to buy them and then sustain them like any other shareholder would. If they don't then they sell to somebody that can, he's giving fans a chance to have some responsibilty for the club.
  14. Looks like his Rangers bussiness friends have won the wager.
  15. Quote from a newspaper a few months ago. It looks as though DD's Rangers business friends will have that night out.
  16. Doubt it after that massive piece of news from c1872 and the never again legacy. I think it will just make their fans want the same.
  17. WOW! That's massive. What a legacy, Something fans of other club's only wish they could have.
  18. I saw it as he wasn't taking the bait and blocked the guy from twisting the debate to Rangers.
  19. Lack of form could be due to long covid, that will be a long recovery time.
  20. The match protecting the players and disabled?
  21. This guys wrong. No Rangers fan rioted when our club had troubles.
