  1. David Edgar was at the meeting and is one of those who issued a joint statement, which criticised part of our support. He also hosts the Heart and Hand podcast which states 'the show which doesn't shirk the major issues at Ibrox'. Surely he can answer the various questions being asked on the next podcast?
  2. Unfortunately, I can see Murray pushing it too much, too soon, then the injury never fully clearing up.
  3. Kyle Edmund in the quarter finals - will play either Dimitrov or Kyrgios. There's going to be a big void to fill in British men's tennis in the near future - looks like he'll be the main one to try to do it.
  4. Could one group not just join in with the other? In the same way I expect you would want fans not in a standing section to join in? And do the UB not already sing songs where some of them sing at the other part and vice versa?
  5. Yeah, I know, but not everyone sang in those areas - lots more did than now, obv. The distance between the corners would, potentially, help to spread the signing further around the ground. If that was done, I'm sure it could be extended a bit at each side, if need be. Most parts of the ground are sold out most weeks, tbf. The point I wa making is that I don't hear lots of people complaining they can't get tickets beside bf1, and most in bf2 don't stand, anyway.
  6. The situation before with singing from the enclosure and Copland suggests it wouldn't necessarily defeat the purpose. Yeah, there is limited room near bf1. However, I've not seen much evidence of loads of people trying to get tickets beside them. As for away games, I stand at them as well. It is, pretty much, the done thing. I don't have any interest in standing at ibrox, though. That's not to say folk shouldn't.
  7. Cheers ? I think the amount of other fans that congregate around the union bears or stand in other parts of the stadium, suggests the numbers who would want standing areas, and actually buy tickets for them, is not that high. Two sections would potentially work - getting singing in other parts of the stadium, like the enclosure and Copland used to do.
  8. I'd have two small standing sections - under the screens.
  9. CD2. Govan front for over 30 years, but couldn't get seats together when I got seasons for my sons this season in the Govan. Bit more expensive, but much better view.
  10. It probably was, tbf. Just a better class of corrupt bastards.
  11. Paddy Power paid out on Stoke being relegated already. Won't cost them much, I shouldn't think, but amusing none the less.
  12. Did the tour on Sunday. The guide said we've about three times the number of trophies on display, and that they rotate them.
  13. He's been good for us, we've been good for him. If he wants to move on I won't be too upset, but thanks and good luck.
  14. We fucked about in the close season with Davis, went out of Europe at the start of August, then signed him. I sincerely hope we don't go about this in the same way.
  15. Total of Ross co, Thistle, Hearts, Killie and now Hamilton.
  16. Apart from a decent game against Thistle last season Niko has been shite - it's that simple. Unfortunately, I doubt anyone will take him off our hands. Bruno might, however, be able to find another club in January, which will help help get to the World Cup and get him off of our wage bill. it would be nice, though, if one day we learned from our mistakes.
  17. I think Walter Smith's budget would be much more helpful than his knowledge. He didn't have some magic formula to beat teams that defend deep.
  18. Including a header from about 2 inches off the ground, iirc.
  19. Too scared to make an earlier change, which could have won the match for us.
  20. Especially, after an early booking.
