The Dude got a reaction from Bluepeter9 in Honest Mistakes
There must be far, far more celtic fans in Scotland than we give credit for. Especially clicking through links on Rangers fansites.

It's maybe because I watch so much football that I see the same things happening with other clubs. I seen some absolutely baffling decisions in games that had nothing to do with us and the result had no affect on us - the referees in this country are fucking atrocious. But they are just as bad when they are refereeing Raith Rovers as they are when they referee Rangers.

There’a a handful of red cards overturned . Every club in the country has to deal with shite refs. Some of the absolute garbage folk hit out with on here is laughable. We’re the biggest, most well supported club in the country but everyone in a position of power is seemingly out to get us.

Thread reaks of loser mentality
we have always had a hard time with refs because they’re shite, but we don’t notice/care as much when winning. We in fact laugh at other teams greetin about refs as we strolled to another league.
things have changed and the loser mentality/paranoia is setting in

We both know that's not true though. The quote is entirely relevant to us as there's been a recent row about us cutting celtic's allocation and them reciprocating. Could also have gone with Hibs but nobody gives a fuck about Hibs.
There's not any distinction in our statement either about whether it only applies to league games or cup games. Just that it will impact the number of visiting fans.

Some stuff is purely designed for cheap clicks. That surely can't be a surprise. Papers now run articles listing supermarket opening hours on bank holiday because it generates traffic. Christ, in my main job I have to do 16 Rangers stories a day minimum. Not all of them can be big breaking news stories every time. Sometimes it'll be shite like what Josh Windass tweeted or trying to puff something pretty meaningless into something that sounds a bit important - or at least important enough that you'll click on it.

I don’t think he is at all.
He’s obviously been asked the question and has responded pretty reasonably/

A wee point on the 'cup rule' - both clubs and the police have to agree on the allocation. If plod find 800 much easier to manage they can quite easily refuse to allow the increase (Rangers can in theory but the SFA have more leeway to enforce the decision with them than they have the polis). Nowhere does the rule say that they must have or are obliged to receive 20% but only that they can "claim" up to 20%.

From what I've heard it's going to be fully open in the league but restricted in Youth Cup (totally U20/21) and Challenge Cup (Possibly U23 with a number of overs)
