  1. https://www.instagram.com/p/CbnikmtsKmP/?utm_medium=share_sheet jorg.albertz11 The Daily Record/Sunday Mail today published my column which I or my team had NOT seen or approved. It isn’t an accurate reflection of the conversation I had with the journalist. This is extremely disappointing and is a clear breach of trust. I will be taking immediate action. I am very proud to be part of Rangers Football Club and enjoy all interactions I have with the club. The Rangers weekend of Legends was a fantastic occasion and celebration of Rangers 150th anniversary.
  2. If you watched that game today and are not genuinely worried then I would suggest all you have is blind faith. We are struggling to break down teams and do not look to have improved much from last season. Not enough urgency in our play, we are so obvious in almost everything we do. Until Jones came on we didn't even look like we wanted to get past a full back and get to the goal line. Kilmarnock looked a much poorer side than they were last season and we still struggled to create many chances.
  3. Was that not Dundee Hibs they never brought more than 20 and a dug?
  4. This is nonsense never happened. He was roundly ridiculed for throwing his top into the jungle at the last home game of the season because as usual the yahoo media had him going to all these big clubs. And guess what he never went anywhere because he was another over rated joke. I just surprised he didn't win young player of the year this year. He did however give me one moment of great joy when he bottled it from taking a penalty in the Raith Rovers final at Ibrox and then missed when he was forced to. 🤣
  5. LMAO the madness on here is hilarious. So BlueMe and King Jela thinks that we spent the same money with Warburton in total than we made on Windass. Forget Senderos and Joey Barton. We covered the budget. FFS.
  6. What worries me is why did they think that the likes of Lafferty was good enough anyway.
  7. I remember in 1986 when Uruguay beat Scotland in the world cup with a team of hammer throwers. Look at how the players and the football of that country has progressed since then and compare it to Scotland. Until all clubs in this country agree to try and play decent technical football we have no chance. My oldest used to play every weekend for a boys club and some of the attitudes from the coaches and parents of the clubs is like something out of the 70's. Screaming and swearing at young boys to fecking smash him and stuff is frankly embarrassing in this day, but that's Scottish football for you. If we fix it we need need to get every club to agree no more hammer throwers.
  8. Yet another job for the boys. I wonder how much we are wasting on him this time. Its about time we started looking at things with a modern view not scouting like it's 1980.
  9. The apology should have come after the 2nd or 3rd stupid red not the fifth. He is a liability that also forces our team to play in a certain way which has no back up plan. We need to start playing and acting like a team not 10 guys and Morelos, if we are so reliant on him that we cannot adapt and beat teams without him then we have to move him on while he is still worth something. The whole team need to start apologising because some of their performances have been shocking. Worrall yesterday had a nightmare and that's not the first time he has let us down. I am fed up hearing pish from our Manager like i was too angry to talk to them or I know who didnt step up and do a job. How many times does Worrall or Jack or Morelos need to play badly before they are dropped. If we have no strength in depth in our squad then that is down to one man only, and lets be honest apart from McGregor, Kamara and Kent i have not seen much from any of his other signings and there have been quite a few. Apart from Europe we have a worse record with Gerard than we did with Pedro. And even the magic hat managed to beat the yahoos even if it was on penalties. When the chancer Warburton left we were in 2nd place in the league so no great improvement there. I really want Gerard to succeed but we should never have let a rookie Manager learn his job at our club. The minute we put pressure on the beggars they went out and paid a lot of money to bring Rogers in, we however went fro an under 21 coach to an under 18 coach and expected miracles.
  10. Part of our problems over the last 20 years is we don't rate our own players highly enough, it has become almost trendy to slag our own and under value them. On the other hand the yahoos over the years are picking up money for utter dross like Gary Hooper and Craig Beattie who between them brought in more than six million. Now I am not a huge Tav fan but if you take into account the number of assists that he has had even before you count his goals then we should be holding out for a lot more than £2M. Thankfully I think we are now starting to put a true value on our players.

  12. But surely treating Rangers differently to other clubs proves "anti Rangers positioning "?
  13. Lafferty struggles to hold up the ball. We tried to get him to do it two games in a row and in both games he couldn't do it. I didn't think he was good enough for us the first time and I stand by that.
  14. We showed them far too much respect from the start. Ejaria should have been taken off after their goal as he was having a howler.
  15. And yet some on here think we are paranoid. Sadly apathy amongst our own support has not helped our situation.
  16. Is it really too much to expect people to be patriotic to Scotland and then all other countries in our "United Kingdom"? I always thought the clue was in the title.
  17. No it wasn't. I happen to know someone who was in the room and Green was the one who told them that there would be no stripping of titles. He may have been a cock and was probably doing it to serve his own interests but Green most definitely told them that title stripping would not be happening. To be fair Ally then supported Green in digging his heels in. I was also told that Ally also missed two meetings about this within the club before the main meeting. Take from that what you will.
  18. Just when you think we cant stoop any lower..............
  19. The case was not dropped he was found guilty, there is a big difference.
  20. That's great it means we still have £46 Million left to collect.
  21. Can someone enlighten me on why this is accepted as an excuse. We have had the highest season ticket sales in years last summer which must have brought in a significant increase in our annual turnover. We also have our Chairman who stated. ‘My view of what it will take to make Rangers competitive again is bottom end £30m but probably £50m — over the next four years,’. ‘From the discussions I have to date I think there are other people who would come with me. ‘But I would say I would probably have to put in £30m of the £50m over the period of time. And I could probably get other people to put in £20m. ‘Would I be willing to invest £30m despite what happened previously? Of course. Sure.’ Read more: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/sport/football/article-2588429/Dave-King-commit-30m-ensure-Rangers-return-Scottish-Premiership.html#ixzz4XlKTjtB1 From what I can see he has spent about £5Million in his first two years so that should leave us with between 25 and 45 Million still to invest within the next two years. So why are people on here constantly saying we don't have the money to compete?
  22. Would we not also have to play the first qualifier with the current squad minus our loan players (Toral and Hyndman being the obvious ones). I am not sure we would make it past that first qualifying round the way we have been playing. I think it is probably too late for acting. Which is why I believe the board are also complicit in this failure this season.
