  1. No one said that. We don't rip off Rangers fans - thats what we are being accused of. We provide a product and service second to none at a fair price - With our location we could be much more expensive and still be busy.
  2. We only open Saturdays 11-7, Sundays 12.30-7, and all day any match days. We always have the same prices when we are opened - we also always have our free rolls (while stocks last) We Are The People God Bless The Rangers The Louden Tavern: Ibrox Stadium - More Than A Pub
  3. If you think £3 a pint is ripping people off then I question your knowledge on the running costs that pubs have to cover. I addressed your other points in a previous post
  4. We took over the pub last september and our prices have't changed. When we took over the pub it was £2.20 for a vodka (Vladivar) and 'kola'. Now it is £2 for a Smirnoff and Coca-Cola. It was £2.80 for a bottle beer and the same for a pint. Since September there has been two rises (government and brewery). We are £3 and our product is freezing cold served in real glasses which are clean - non of which the previous owners offered. We have a fantastic match-day experience (including providing free rolls) that is second to none. We have in excess of 35 staff working on a match-day and don't even get me started on the price of sky tv. In our opinion, we offer a great product for a reasonable price - We don't rip off Rangers fans, we are Rangers fans. If your idea is hiding up a close with your 6 for a fiver carry out then you are welcome to it. I think you will find many of our supporters agree that we offer great value. 5. Personally speaking the newest Louden at Copland Road (formerly The Stadium Bar) is different class
  6. The opening game in our march from the bottom to the very top of Scottish football begins at 12.45 this Saturday. Doors open at 11am. We will of course have the traditional free rolls and tunes. We will be showing the game live on our six 60” TVs in full high definition – the way football should be shown. We invite any Rangers Supporter who can make it to the vicinity of the home of fantasy football to join us in celebrating the continuing unbroken history of the most successful team in the history of the game. I believe there will be some sort of celebration down Elder Park way and if they feel the need of a wee roll and ham, they are more than welcome to make their way up. We hope The Rangers Support will continue to back The Quintessential Rangers Supporters’ Pub. The fans that have and continue to support the pub at home matches is second to none and far exceeds all expectations and hopes this early on in our development. Our immediate aim is to convince our fans to come and watch our live games in the surroundings that, is without doubt, the ultimate televised away match day experience. Once again we would like to thank all the fans for the support they have given and we are hopeful of having the ventilation sorted and we will be applying for the beer garden immently. We Are The People God Bless The Rangers The Louden Tavern: More than a Pub P.S. Sorry no kids
  7. We will open our door at 4pm - free rolls, free tunes, free entry. Tuesday 7th August 2012 will be the first home game since the criminally insane SPL deemed it appropriate, through hatred, jealousy, and obvious non-footballing reasons, to oust the most successful footballing club in the world – The Rangers, and we have always been The Rangers and we always will be! I think the passion of our support, the strength of our belief and the faith that we have in Alistair McCoist to represent us a true Rangers Manager only can – will lead us back to our rightful place as the dominant force of the Scottish game. The Rangers Family have been absolutely incredible since that fateful day on the 14th February. If anyone had any doubts about how loyal our supporters are then they doubts have banished forever. I find it unbelievable the amount of people I have personally met who have informed me of their intention of buying a season ticket (if any are left ) who previously, for whatever reason found it difficult to commit to a full season. I know there are differing opinions on whether fans should be buying season tickets in the current climate and I respect everyone’s personal opinion on that. It is, however, my opinion that it is imperative that as many people as is possible purchase a season ticket. I have many reasons for this, including the shame we could impose on the SPL teams when the rest of the world sees that we have outsold ever one of them whilst being in the fourth tier of Scottish Football. But my overriding reason for myself and my family renewing our season tickets is our undying love and devotion our team and club – a feeling we all share. If you cannot commit yourself to a season ticket I hope to see you as often as possible – we all do what we can. I see some people, understandably, feel that the price may be a bit expensive for the third division. But my answer to that, from the bottom of my heart is: I am not going to watch the third division – I am only here to see The Rangers. 8. This year marked the inaugural opening of The Louden Tavern: Ibrox Stadium, the quintessential Rangers Supporters’ Pub. A longstanding ambition of having a premises on the doorstep of Ibrox Stadium was realised when we acquired the former Stadium Bar on Copland Road and transformed it into a venue befitting The Rangers Family. This season has been one of the most traumatic times the club and our support have had to endure. Despite this, the level of support shown to the pub has far surpassed our hopes and aspirations – The Supporters have been unbelievable. With the last home game against Motherwell having passed, we can now look to forge ahead with our plans for next season. We are very enthusiastic about the prospect of developing an outside drinking are at the rear of the premises, enabling us to allow children in. This area will also be heated for the colder days and nights attending Ibrox. With regard to the interior of the pub, although still a work-in-progress, we are pleased with the outcome of the public bar area and the feedback we have received has been immensely positive. We will also be adding some interesting memorabilia to allow you to take a stroll down memory lane. The two most common positive comments we receive are, firstly, thanking us for turning The Stadium Bar into a real Rangers pub and, secondly, how quickly they manage to get served. We would like to thank our staff for being so professional, courteous and dedicated in helping to make our supporters to enjoy an unrivalled match-day experience. In closing, we would like to reiterate our thanks to the support for the dignity, class and respect shown in the pub and towards the staff. Every one of them have met the standards and traditions that our great club are renowned for. We hope to see everyone safe and sound in the new season, or if not before then. We are open every Saturday from 11am-6pm. We Are The People God Bless The Rangers The Louden Tavern: More than a Pub

  12. The smooth render is just about finished, takes about 3 weeks to dry out properly and so we would have the outside completely finished for the new season - it will be a sight for The Support to be proud of We Are The People God Bless The Rangers The Louden Tavern: More than a Pub
