  5. Wednesday, 3 October 2012 NEW DAILY RECORD AND RENNIE REVELATIONS PANIC swept across the Daily Record editorial floor yesterday after my exclusive revelations that Record editor Allan Pussy Rennie was ready to meet the cowardly anonymous Celtic bigots behind the Rangers Tax Case blog. And perhaps even offer those bigots the chance to write a blog on the Daily Record's own website. The newspaper grapevine went into overdrive when my revelations appeared here and even hacks from other newspapers, who were in Moscow, were in on the news as Pussy Rennie’s day off plans were shot down and the now seriously under pressure Record editor had to make a dash to the office. And with that panic now gripping the Record, as Pussy Rennie goes into meltdown, now would be a good time for Rangers supporters to organise and turn up the heat on Rennie. Before, that is, Pussy Rennie offers a job to his Glasgow born, Newcastle based Mirror Newspapers Group colleague Brian Patrick McNally, who last night declared that Rangers were cheats. That was just the latest in a long line of insults hurled at Rangers and their fans by Sunday Mirror sports writer Brian Patrick McNally, one of Philmacgiollabhain's pals. Such a thought would have been crazy a few months ago. But after the revelations that Rennie has been in touch with the Celtic bigots on the Rangers Tax Case blog, the Record editor has created a whole new ball game. Therefore, before he can make matters worse, now we would be the perfect time for Rangers supporters to concentrate their minds and their efforts on exposing just what sort of bigots Pussy Rennie is willing to grovel to. For any hint at a properly organised boycott of the paper by Rangers supporters could see Pussy Rennie’s reign as editor become the shortest in that newspaper’s history. As one pal of mine on another paper made clear to me, a Daily Record hack told him the paper has had a number of muppets sitting in the editorial chair in recent years, but Allan Pussy Rennie is the biggest muppet of them all. Good, honest, hardworking, unbiased, decent and highly professional journalists who work for Daily Record – and there are many – now fear for the survival of the paper under Rennie. For if the Record goes under they will lose their jobs. The only thing which can save the Record and save Rennie is if Rangers supporters fail to muster, fail to channel all their energies and fail to turn their big guns on to the Record over Rennie’s clear indication that he was willing to talk about giving a blog on the official Record website to the Celtic bigots who cower in anonymity behind the Rangers Tax Case blog. That was just the latest example of how Rennie will not stand up to anyone who stands up to him. You see, hacks from all papers talk to each other. Tittle tattle is the life blood of journalism and according to my mole on another paper who has heard the gossip, Rennie he came close to issuing a grovelling apology to Peter Lawwell over a story in the Record. Even though the exclusive story was correct and even though he knew it was correct. That was the occasion which earned him the nickname of Pussy and I can now reveal that he was branded as such by a Celtic supporting news hack on the paper who views the editor with complete contempt. Pussy Rennie is a man with a thumb on the Twitter trigger. But an editor who does not have his finger on the pulse. Now Hampden sources have whispered to me that they think they are ready to put Pussy Rennie under the thumb of Stewart Regan and Peter Lawwell's Scottish Football Association. For the SFA reckon Rennie is a soft touch and they are believed to be ready to turn up the pressure on him to start kowtowing to Peter Lawwell's pal, Scottish Football Association chief executive Stewart Regan, and get Rennie to force the Record to clamp down on any criticism, however justified, of Regan and Lawwell’s SFA. ..... AND.... RANGERS fans are counting down the days until October 10, after I named it as a red, white and blue letter day for them. I must now make two points. One which I made at the time, but which seems to have been overlooked. The news will not be earth shattering. I thought I had made that clear at the time, but obviously some folk had missed the element of tease. And the date has now been changed. To October 24th. posted by leggoland @ 07:06

  8. My bad, the learned QC is one of the most eminent experts in the field of vat dodges, you could say it was his subject, he has of course been involved in many tribunals as that is who he works for Tribunals Judiciary. I am quite content that HMRC do not have a great record when facing him, he is known to be scrupulously fair and unswayed by government departmental politics, what you take is your choice, but you appear to confuse me with someone who gives a fuck as to what you think.
  9. Or the showing of the readies in hard English notes, let the charity work commence. Did we ever have clarification on this emotive subject of appearance fees at charity or fundraising events. http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?showtopic=223395&view=findpost&p=1060139037
  10. whilst I can't disagree with your sentiment I always believed that charity work was exactly that charity.

  12. Tuesday, 2 October 2012 RECORD EDITOR'S SHOCK OFFER TO RANGERS TAX CASE DAILY RECORD editor Allan Rennie wants to meet the anonymous Celtic supporters behind the controversial Rangers Tax Case blog. And it seems he may even be on the brink of offering them a blog on the Daily Record web site, while promising to preserve their anonymity. It is all there to see in the latest communications between Allan Pussy Rennie and the Rangers Tax Case bloggers, one of whom is believed by many to be shamed lawyer Paul McConville. McConville was hit by a Law Society ban earlier this year which ruled that he can only be allowed to continue to practice under the supervision of the Law Society. He was previously a partner in a Glasgow City centre law firm which was involved in complaints from clients over compensation payments, a story which was covered extensively by Scottish newspapers, including the Daily Record. Now comes this latest outrage from Allan Rennie whose failure to stand up to Celtic when they banned veteran sports writer Hugh Keevins for writing critically about Peter Lawwell, earned him the derisive nickname of Pussy among Record reporters. Then that Pussy Rennie cave-in to Peter Lawwell was followed by the rotten Record editor allowing columnist and New new bbc Radio Scotland show host, Tam Cowan, to write a column defending New new bbc Scotland’s recent two appalling attacks on Rangers and manager Ally McCoist, one of them on the show Cowan co-hosts with self confessed football hooligan Stuart Cosgrove. But his latest display of poor judgement has now put him on the same sort of collision course with newly militant Rangers supporters as the one which forced Sun editor, Andy Halfwit Harries into a u-turn over his plans to serialise Philmacgiollabhain’s book. And it could lead to an organised boycott of the Daily Record by Rangers supporters. Any boycott would leave Pussy Rennie with a lot of explaining to do to the Record money men. My information is that there is fury on the Record editorial floor over the way Pussy Rennie has performed since taking over as editor earlier this year. Celtic’s all powerful chief executive Peter Lawwell banned Hugh Keevins and Pussy Rennie did nothing. Under-fire Scotland manager Craig Levein banned Record reporters and once again Pussy Rennie did nothing. Rangers were disgracefully attacked by New new bbc Scotland and Pussy Rennie allowed Tam Cowan free rein in the Record to defend his employers. Now Pussy Rennie’s obsession with Twitter and his plan to meet and maybe even employ the Celtic fans behind the Rangers Tax Case blog, while preserving their anonymity, could be the last straw and lead to journalists revolting against their out-of-his-depth editor. A man they see as having been promoted way beyond his extremely limited ability. Journalists at the Record also see the fact that Pussy Rennie has gone on to Twitter and begged the anonymous Celtic men behind the controversial Rangers Tax Case blog to meet him as just another example of a middle aged man who does not fully understand the dangers and implications of Twitter conversations. There is outrage that Pussy Rennie has even gone public and on the record on his Twitter account and admitted that he is willing to collude with the cowards behind the Rangers Tax Case blow and keep the identities secret. He has also hinted, again on Twitter, that he may offer them a chance to peddle their anti Rangers propaganda on the Daily Record’s own official web site. But now the cat is out of the bag and Allan Pussy Rennie is about to learn just how foolish he is being. Almost as crazy as Andy Halfwit Harries was. And we all know how badly that turned out for the Scottish Sun and Halfwit Harries. This latest piece of editorial mismanagement at the highest level inside the Record could now turn out even worse for the Daily Record and its Twitter obsessed editor, Allan Pussy Rennie. Which is a shame. For the Daily Record has led the way in the Rangers story, right from the moment it exposed Craig Whyte's shady dealings. But that was before Allan Pussy Rennie became editor. posted by leggoland @ 08:10

  14. I prefer to think of it as the Armageddon awaiting our enemies, they are about to find out that shit really does happen..and in spades.
  15. No, I said it in the OP it isn't an enigma.
  16. Young un's these days, going to bed before three in the morning, they don't make them like they used to.
  17. Read the OP slowly it is self explanatory, even the bit about Lord Nimmo Smith's panel. It is becoming apparent that some prefer the inbred banjo playing fukwit tarrier type of news to anything positive, I will leave it with you to make up your own minds, I am sure you have checked out Kenneth Mure QC to your satisfaction, haven't you ?
  18. Below is your link to good news and happiness, all you have to do is put the name of Kenneth Mure QC into the box reserved for your Judge selection, or select him from the list. The result of our FTTT will appear here on publication day but not any time soon, I am reliably informed that we have no liability to answer for or to. Interestingly for our financial wizards the learned QC has never chaired anything other than VAT tribunals, I trust you can work it out from there. It will be interesting to see how Lord Nimmo's panel extract themselves from having to pre-empt a court of record, very interesting. http://www.financeandtaxtribunals.gov.uk/Aspx/default.aspx
