  1. Statement From Brian Kennedy Monday 24th July 2012 This evening my Lawyers have submitted to the offices of Zeus Capital, a copy of the offer document, along with proof of funding, that was considered and rejected by the controlling investors in Sevco around 27th June 2012. However, this offer will remain on the table for an open ended period of time. I fully respect it is the legal prerogative of the controlling investors to accept or reject any offers for the shares, but I remain ready willing and able to support the long term interests of Rangers Football Club. @swannymediaman
  2. I'm so sick of everything. I wish we could just get back to football and concentrate on returning to our supremacy of Scotland.
  3. Charles Green, Chief Executive of The Rangers Football Club said, "For the avoidance of doubt, the owners and board of the Club are not interested in selling a majority stake in Rangers to anyone. "I have said many times we are happy to talk to potential investors who wish to join the consortium on the basis that no single investor will have a majority shareholding and they support our commitment to a share issue for fans. "We have checked with all the official representatives of shareholders and none of them have had meetings with Brian Kennedy so we have no idea who the gentleman is he is referring to. "He has not contacted any board members on this matter and we have never received any written offer from him. "Many people had the opportunity to purchase the Club prior to our consortium but failed to do so, including Mr Kennedy. Talk of yet more bids is a distraction from the very real task of securing SFA membership and rebuilding the Club for the future. "That is our sole focus and should be the priority for everyone with Rangers best interests at heart." Sorry, already posted. Never noticed it.
  4. Just passing on the info. Don't know much about it. It has been discussed for the past few days on FF. It is supposed to be in protest of the corruption shown by Regan and the SFA.
  5. Noticed on Facebook that there is an event created for a rally this weekend. It's on Saturday at 1pm at George Square. Thought I'd pass on the info should any Bears want to attend.
  6. The level of abuse is what I am getting at. People are moving past the - sometimes - poorly run FF and going straight to personally attacking individual mods with serious allegations that have no foundation. By all means, if you believe someone to be 'spouting pish' and wish to call them out on it fire ahead. But the level SOME people are going to is out of order.
  7. The way some people are talking about fellow Bears is awful. FF can be narrow minded and harsh on opinions that go against the majority of the posters, but it cannot justify the labels and criticism some are dishing out on this thread.
  8. Outrageous post. Can't believe a Rangers fan could say that about other supporters.
  9. Having dislikes about the forum and the way it's run is one thing; calling fellow Rangers fans cu*ts because they post on it is another. The admin are very strict and meddling - in terms of what posts are allowed - but that doesn't justify saying things like ''it's full of cunts, I wouldn't piss on them if they were on fire'. Posts like that shame our support. I agree though, there is a strict agenda on FF and anyone who goes against it is either called a Tim or gets a ban. They should allow people of all opinions to openly discuss their views and arguments - but that doesn't happen (on certain topics).
  10. Its remarkable how the 'pro-TBK' fans have now disregarded BK after this statement. Apparently, he has used this whole saga as a publicity stunt and his appraisal of Miller is another way of drawing the public eye to him. These same fans were delighted when BK joined forces with TBK and showed nothing but the upmost respect for him. Now after a statement which didnt suit their 'agenda', they're searching for reasons to dismiss his opinion/approval. As Rangers fans, our 'agenda' should be finding the best solution for the club. Millers plan, background and financial clout have given no reason to doubt him just yet. I do understand the scepticism after all we have been through, but closing your mind to any positivity because you wanted another bidder to win is narrow-minded. Can't we see past the 'pro - TBK' and 'anti - TBK' attitudes people have developed? Let's focus on getting the club back to the superior institution it is destined to be.
  11. I have no idea how the voting will go. One part of me thinks they want to see us die, so will impose tough sanctions. Another part of me believes they know the danger of imposing such sanctions and may fear the backlash it could cause. I think we need to accept some form of punishment, but let's hope it's severity reduces our competitiveness for next season (more than it already has).
  12. The instant dismissal of Miller is wrong, yet understandable after everything we have been through. The man has been up front with his plans from the get go and appears to have more finance than TBK could muster between them. I will give the guy a chance, although I will - like most Bears - scrutinise his every move. People need to give us a reason to trust them, rather than just expect it. We have been through to much to blindly follow anyone. NewCo was never my preferred option. I always hoped for a CVA to be agreed. However, the most important thing is for us to continue to exist with our history intact. It may not be the prettiest solution but it is still an outcome that preserves our heritage and allows us to create more history.
  13. You hinted towards these owners being huge successes for their clubs due to their level of finance. However, 20 years ago during Murrays best saga I bet we all felt invincible. The exact same is happening to City. Eventually their owners will decide "no more for me" and try to get rid of the club just like Murray did. Your point regarding these owners is flawed in several different ways. It can't be compared to our situation.
  14. Unknown you say? Oh Im sure the fans were shaking in their boots at the prospect of billionaires buying their club. In what way does that remotely relate to our situation? If we all believed that Kennedy/Miller/Murray had the money to "waste" in order to save the club I'm pretty sure a lot of fans would have different opinions. The fact is, we know they don't have that kind of money. Hence the massive debates on what's right for the club.
