  1. Hopefully those 2 will turn out to be the difference between a draw/loss to winning games at the death. They look ok so far but with ojo in particular we’ve seen loan signings start good then revert back to their usual level. I saw yesterday that the scum are leaving Scott Sinclair out of squads and we’ve seen him win games on his own for them and that’s what I think is still missing from us.
  2. No we haven’t but I’m talking about last year aswell. We only need look at the 1st half vs st Joseph’s in that If refs decisions and the flow of the game isn’t going for us then we look to run out of ideas. Very rarely do we score out from nothing
  3. Think ojo will be a good player overall for us. I like his no fear of striking the ball but from what I’ve seen so far we lack a wee bit of magic that can win a game on its own. We dont seem to score against the run of play and more often than not will draw if the game looks as though it’s hesding for a draw. A difference maker is what we need.
  4. Ever?? The guy will do fine but considering we’ve bought legends like gough, laudrup McCoist and Goram to name just 4 shows that it won’t be anywhere near the best transfer ever. could even state a case for prso and even boumsong if we’re comparing him to free transfers as 1 fought and played like a general for us whilst helping us win the league and the other made us 8 million profit in 6 months.
  5. Bradford city,Arsenal,sheff weds,Villarreal Valencia,inter,artmedia,Porto, panathinaikos
  6. That’s like saying no one recognised Rodgers winking every trophy available domestically just because the rest of the league was crap. When the opposite is true. You only had to listen to pro managers opinions on talk sport about him and not some no mark supporters who only have a clue about getting wrecked before and after games. Gerrards stock will be high as soon as we win the league again. I think potential suitors would however wait to see if he can build on a winning squad to retain the league before they made a move- let’s face it if lampard can get the Chelsea gig by getting to the play off final and solskjaer can get the mufc job by doing the grand scheme of nothing previously then Gerrard has a great opportunity to be a top club manager if and when he wins the league with us.
  7. There’s no doubting that he’s improved with us season on season. Sometimes coming on here it’s easy to get sucked in by the few that just can’t take to him and look for the negatives, but overall there’s no doubting that he’s 1 of our most important players and 1 of the best players in the whole division. Scotland are crying out for a right back like him, good crosser of the ball, seems to have developed nerves of steel over the last 2 years with all the penalties he takes and converts. according to Miller he’s very vocal on the pitch and in the dressing room. I’ll gladly admit I was wrong about him and if we were to sell him it can’t be for any less than 15 million.
  8. Never at all expected the 4-2 at the piggery but an even bigger result I never saw coming at all was away to stjohnstone 1 mid week night. Got hammered 4-1 although we still cantered to the title it was still a sickener. 09-10 it was, should’ve finished double figures infront of the taigs that year
  9. Has anyone actually seen this lad play or is it just a typical forum reaction to nearly every signing we make? Seems like another project type of signing imo hoping that he does that well and we sell him on for big money. Hopefully he turns out to be a game changer for us but surely if he had as much potential as some are making out then he’d have better offers from teams in far better leagues.
  10. I think there is a place for jack against sides that entry to win against us. Think he’ll be key in Europe especially as that break up play type and make the simple passes. do I think he’s the next Barry Ferguson? No but I think he’s a decent option for us
  11. No doubting his quality but unless we can fund that 1-2 players to unlock packed defences aswell as another 2 defenders and striker then we’ll have to hope we sell him for big money. the guy scored 30 goals and we still never came close to winning a trophy. I’d rather keep him and his goals but if it’s a choice between keep Morelos and sign more squadfillers or sell him and get our main targets then it’s sell him for me. Unfortunately, hopefully dodgy Dave can stop that from happening
  12. We can only really compare Morelos with similar players that have left Scotland recently. And the only 1 is dembele. Lyon really wanted him so paid over the odds imo. Its all down to how much a prospective buyer is willing to pay. If there’s only 1 club in for him then he’ll go for the minimum negotiating fee that the club set. The my might have set negotiations at 20m for all we know. There might not even be any genuine interest in the lad but we’ll find out soon enough
  13. Wearing a fake Rangers top 1that especially looks as bad as that is worse than those Jeremy Kyle folk that wear addicted instead of Adidas
  14. Wasn’t overly impressed before his injury tbh. Would give him next season and see how he goes
  15. It’s crazy that folks would accept him leaving. Myself included. I actually think we look a more fluent team without Morelos in the side and I know that’s crazy but when he plays it seems the rest of the team just give him the goal scoring responsibilities and only offer up sideways passes. Arfield s goal vs them definitely wouldn’t have happened had Morelos been in instead of Defoe as there’s no chance he does the dummy and lets the ball roll through. It’s weird
  16. Thought if the ref had dealt with any offence by issuing a card then nothing can be done retrospectively? Over the last 2 years the players we’ve had have suffered from elbows by brown on 3 occasions, reckless tackles from hibs and Motherwell but as soon as a Rangers player does any of that there’s made up rules and outcries from the pundits.
  17. Not a great player by any means but a tackle like that was needed on him. He’s bossed loads of games v us in the last few years simply because we had players that gave him too much space and respect. Brilliant hard but fair tackle
  18. Double standards. We all know the 3 in question hate Rangers and will look for anything negative. The singing etc that these mock offended go on about is what makes this the real derby match. Everyone has a right to an opinion. What if the people that sing the bully boys are offended by those that deem it offensive? What about their opinions and feelings? Or is it that only a minority that is allowed to be offended by anything and everything? the fact they only ever highlight one side of the coin shows exactly what they are. A complete waste of jizz that should’ve been fired on the mattress
  19. Had a storming game today. Harassed, tackled, scored, tracked back. Complete performance from him today, hopefully kicks on even more for us.
  20. Well 1 player that stuck out for me was Davis. Always available and willing to take the ball from tav/ goldson and when in tight spaces too. Makes a heck of a difference when you have a player so comfortable on the ball. Definitely has an effect on the players around him. The whole team left everything on the park and we deserved the win easy, just a shame we couldn’t go on and get a 3rd or 4th goal. still some quality needed to give us different options from the bench etc but although trophy less a blind man can see the gap is closing.
  21. There’s pride at stake, that plus the team need to show that December wasn’t a 1 off and we can actually best them at home from now on.
  22. You shouldn’t give any team a guard of honour if they constantly act like complete fannies on the pitch. they deserve not one ounce of respect, they act like wee chavs when they win and are extremely sore losers- this celtic team especially hold no integrity. They don’t act like champions so why treat them like champions? FWIW guard of honour is a cringe fest of the highest order.
  23. Definitely a player there. When he’s good he’s always in the right place when defending and attacking. Could be that the game in Scotland takes some getting used to. Its not everywhere that hard men thugs are better thought of than good technical footballers.
  24. Think he’s a low risk signing. He knows what the fans want and unfortunately for us and him he came to us having been dropped from the Southampton squad like Defoe was at Bournemouth. So with that in mind how we can expect such players to hit the ground running in every game just because of their name shows supporters up for what we are. Clueless when it comes to the ins and outs of football fitness. even when Davis arrived he started the 1 st game but more and more we’d see him get 30 mins here and there until Gerrard started him again and give him upto 80 mins. It makes a difference long term. As we’ve seen with Defoe these last few games aswell. I’m not saying Davis is the man to win is the league but he could easily be part of a bigger rebuild.
