Normally I’d say yes but we just don’t know what Gerrard thought at that point in the match- maybe thought as legia were in the ascendancy and our players had turned into 2walls of 4 and 5 that upsetting that with jones could cause us more problems.   I think he played it safe

While I was thinking he should also have made a sub when it looked like around 70 mins the game was going away from us, I can see why he chose to stick rather than twist.  Also imagine the bedlam in this place if he made a sub and it turned out the wrong decision!  He’d have been slaughtered on here for making the change so the manager can’t really win.
0-0 is a lot better than losing 1-0 and with the home tie next we should be confident of scoring twice if we look back at our home games in the competition so far.   
 

All depends on the rest of the window. If they go out and spend some good money like we did after the Kaunas humiliation then they’ll be Certs for the league.  I still think we need Atleast 1 more quality player to be title winners.  Going out of The champions league qualifiers doesn’t really have a bearing on league positions imo,  it’s about us having the ability and determination to beat teams that are giving 110%.

Think ojo will be a good player overall for us.  I like his no fear of striking the ball but from what I’ve seen so far we lack a wee bit of magic that can win a game on its own. We dont seem to score against the run of play and more often than not will draw if the game looks as though it’s hesding for a draw.  A difference maker is what we need.

I'm just happy that we are getting a better calibre of player again. The days of Kevin Kyle and Ian Black were some of the darkest in our history.

Has anyone actually seen this lad play or is it just a typical forum reaction to nearly every signing we make?
Seems like another project type of signing imo hoping that he does that well and we sell him on for big money.  Hopefully he turns out to be a game changer for us but surely if he had as much potential as some are making out then he’d have better offers from teams in far better leagues.
 

It’s crazy that folks would accept him leaving. Myself included. I actually think we look a more fluent team without Morelos in the side and I know that’s crazy but when he plays it seems the rest of the team just give him the goal scoring responsibilities and only offer up sideways passes.   Arfield s goal vs them definitely wouldn’t have happened had Morelos been in instead of Defoe as there’s no chance he does the dummy and lets the ball roll through.

Thought if the ref had dealt with any offence by issuing a card then nothing can be done retrospectively?  Over the last 2 years the players we’ve had have suffered from elbows by brown on 3 occasions, reckless tackles from hibs and Motherwell but as soon as a Rangers player does any of that there’s made up rules and outcries from the pundits.

Double standards. We all know the 3 in question hate Rangers and will look for anything negative.  The singing etc that these mock offended go on about is what makes this the real derby match.  Everyone has a right to an opinion.  What if the people that sing the bully boys are offended by those that deem it offensive? What about their opinions and feelings? Or is it that only a minority that is allowed to be offended by anything and everything?

they deserve not one ounce of respect, they act like wee chavs when they win and are extremely sore losers- this celtic team especially hold no integrity. They don’t act like champions so why treat them like champions?  FWIW guard of honour is a cringe fest of the highest order.

He’s right. As things stand we need a 10-15 goals midfielder, a 2nd striker to chip in with another 10 atleast, a commanding centre half and another wide man that can get a few assists.
