I love the man.
I don't think there was another manager we could have got who would have toppled that bheast team with the likes of Sutton, Larsson and Hartson. To win trebles, titles and doubles against that side was some achievement especially when you consider the downsizing the board were doing during those years. They shafted him big time but he still provided the goods. 
Shite last season but he was given crumbs to play with with the best players sold.

Well deserved honour given to a man who was well versed in acting honourably .... even under intense duress in his tenure with the Club.
Ran us on a shoestring ... but produced some of our best trophy winning days that will compete with the best of all our other successful managers.
Congratulations Eck ... a long overdue award.

I see some posters saying there is nothing in 'the rules' to say the SPFL can shift the game, but I cannot believe that there is not a rule that in exceptional circumstances the SPFL board can take any decision required to get to the split at the same time for all teams.
