Teams have had a look at us, realised what it takes & adapted.

We're carrying on with a very one dimensional approach, which has been rumbled, yet we won't adapt (MW's own words - we work harder at Plan A).

    Arrogant to the nth degree.

And before anybody tries to come back at me on that, just remember that MW used to be a city trader.

I can assure anybody that these people are amongst the most arrogant on the planet.

What happened to Warbs team last year in the English 2nd Division? Didn't they start strong and the drop points in the end to miss promotion?

  2. Nope. Will buy Rangers gear for my Rangers supporting kids who don't get the politics. You do get that they are the lifeblood of the club and current strips are a huge part of that for them. Or maybe you don't have kids so don't really get that.

Kids up and down the country who should be huge Rangers fans have lost interest because of our lower league status, the shit fitba they endured under the previous incumbents, and largely because in their minds they now support Barcelona, Bayern, Man United etc all because they've got those strips to wear.

It really is simple - wearing full current strips helps our youngsters buy into supporting the team and following in our footsteps.

And neither of my 2 even know who MA is.

Need to continue to cultivate the next generation of fans. The last few years(on and off the field) has set that effort back.

  3. And I think it only right for other bears to complain when the foolish amongst us still put money into Ashley's pockets. If we all stop paying Ashley then he'll have no option but to renegotiate our merchandising deal. Otherwise you're giving him money while still financially hamstringing the club over the next few years.

    .

Once the board repays the loan to sports direct ( it was a good thing to not pay them back according to the boycotters), the CLUB will receive 51% of either profits or losses from RRL. That means, it will be the club, not sports direct, that will be negatively affected the most by a boycott.

The boycott has achieved nothing today towards getting a better deal with sports direct. The boycott has created revenue streams for those that have shouted the loudest.

  4. i think now that players like tavenier keirnan and waghorn are showing why they could not get a regular game in a team like wigan they all started well for us but have struggled recently keirnan and tavenier were awful today along with wilson and waghorns first touch was poor he is far better out wide. i know my comments will not be popular but thats why we got these players so cheap

While there are always exceptions, these days, you normally get what you pay for.

  5. WE CANT CHANGE FORMATION

WE PLAY 4 3 3 AT EVERY LEVEL IN MURRAY PARK SO ALL OUR YOUTH ARE READY TO PLAY IN OUR PHILOSOPHY WHEN THEY COME OF AGE.

In my mind that would be hitting the panic button, same as the idea of stating Darren McGregor should have stayed when he shouldn't have.

This is our philosophy and you don't just change it because a diddy team with no philosophy got lucky...

We have trained since July so every Rangers player knows what to do in their position in this formation+philosophy including our youth so it would be tearing up all of our work since then and becoming like a pub team with no philosophy.

Tactical tweaks are necessary until we have enough depth to change the game with personnel changes only.

  6. As I said, it's all guess work without the contract details, and the board certainly aren't discouraging the boycott, and they will have to cover any defecit in our running costs.

Congratulations on the birth of your daughter.

Mines wouldn't sleep for more than 2 hours for her first 4 months. Was exhausting.

    I agree.

Thanks on the best wishes for wife and daughter

  7. Congratulations to you and your wife H R. (tu)

Thank you. Born at noon on Friday so it's been a sleepless 60 hrs at times. Hope to go home today.

I am hoping she is another two footed midfielder like her older sister. Looking forward to getting on the pitch with her on 3-4 years.

  8. We will make more per pound from tickets etc, and this should make up for it. It's all assumption though as fat Mike hss hidden key facts with his underhand gagging order.

Did they let you out of the Boredroom section for your xmas holidays btw? ;)

Yes. We make more per pound with ticket sales or brick sales...but your basic premise that a boycott of club merchandise doesn't hurt the club is not correct. We will need to at least to break even the costs of labor and overhead expenses so that no cash is lost by the the club to subsidize losses.

I have 4 HR feedings now with the birth of my daughter 2 days ago so I will be on more often...yeah!

  9. If supporters spend their money on the examples I have given there is no pain caused to Rangers.

Sure there will be pain caused to Rangers. The club shares the profits AND losses of the retail operation. If the retail loses money because not enough is sold to cover labor and overhead expenses associated with the megastore (and other expenses), the the loss will have to be paid by the club either through cash or little or no dividends from prior year profits.

  10. The signs are there that many people will blame King & finances if the manager doesn't do his job and deliver promotion via league winners.

To be fair, the Board and their mouthpieces have taken credit for the on the field results so it is fair that they take the criticism when applicable.

  11. Fair point,I'm only as consciousness when it comes to Rangers.

All of the fake merchandise being peddled by various fan groups are all manufactured in countries using the same production resources as SD.

I know that your next petition would be to ask the Directors of the club to TUPE back to the club the 51 employees that transferred from the club to SD two years ago. Sure, it probably would cost the club a few hundred thousand quid in labor and costs but if you feel that strongly, I would expect you to ask for fairness for those employees.

  12. I bought an adidias t-sheet in SD last month as well. TAKE THAT IANFERGUSON!!

My suggestion to people on zero hour contracts is that if they are not happy, they can seek employment elsewhere. They are NOT slaves. Its a free market economy and they can work where they choose. .

    Exactly.

  13. There is some great bargains in the sale. Will be ordering stuff for my grandchildren and myself for Xmas, plus the kids have no interest in the politics going on at the moment. All they want is to wear Rangers stuff and do not care if it is Ashley or King who own the rights, at those prices, i have to buy stuff.

Got the email this morning about the sale. Got a little one being born shortly (at hospital for 10 hrs) so need a baby shirt for the girl
