  1. Go on the Rangers, fuck these mugs, will be more enjoyable than m/well. Serve us up a good win so I can make a night of it
  2. What I didn’t realise until I woke up with a hangover in my hotel bedroom the next morning, and looked at the papers, was that Jackie McNamara had punched me on the side of jaw from behind. I looked at the photos and then realised my face was a bit sore right enough. He must have caught me with a good one but I’d no idea at the time. Cracking read, love it if we skelp this lot tomorrow.
  3. Easy to believe. Sometimes you can post something that's true and read it the next day and think that post sounds all wrong. Your post was ok but mine’s was fucking minging after the summer we've just had. I would have jumped all over this post a few months ago so it shows Rangers are doing just fine. But a self imposed ban out of shame for sounding like a tarrier is in order. It's the least any half decent human being would do Besides this site's too bloody addictive and being able to read about Rangers any time is getting me too much grief
  4. Ah right, used to be suspicious of the man's looks myself
  5. Do you mean my text? Some of my keys don't work so I have to paste them on to posts, need to get a new laptop, lol
  6. Don't worry about it, not worth spoiling your life over. I'm sure if you were a bricky or it was the right place he would have got a lot more. It's only a matter of time anyway
  7. True and hoping to ignore this but normally this would get you into a lot of bother. Not many private businesses openly hate what so many of their customers love. Strangest of years this, established logic has been replaced too many times by the random thoughts of fools. It's now impossible to predict what will happen next I suppose that's not completely true. I know I'll be dead in 100 years and Rangers will still be winning trophies right enough
  8. Was wondering were he went, not a bad poster him
  9. I think he said 'craigy bhoy' at one point as well. Just another ego who likes being in the centre.
  10. Good news. Our defence is poor so we simply have to concentrate on scoring goals and keeping these fucks under as much pressure as possible like we did against motherwell. We will just have to defend in numbers when we can, be wary of counter attacks and hope the boys at the back have a good game. I'd probably stick Black in front of our defence but encourage every one else to attack as we know we will make plenty of chances. If we are more clinical than we have been then I would expect us to win and for it to be a good game. I'd start with Little and Jig up front and with Templeton and Shiels whipping in crosses and shots. Mckay would come on at some point to change it a bit once utd began to deal better with Shiels or Temps. I'm sure this would at least lead to allsorts of knock downs and rebounds for Little to put away if we fail to score other types of goals. We just need to be less wasteful. I'm expecting Ally to be more catious as that seems to be the way of things in Scottish football but I think it will make things more difficult for us. What would be better than seeing us having a real go at this mob and making the game exciting. We deserve a performance and utd are no Madrid so we do not have much to fear. I can handle a defeat if our young side has a right good go but would hate to see us line up like surrender monkeys against this skid mark club. I might be wrong here but I think keeping things simple suits young and inexperienced players better than trying to soak up pressure, which needs more tactical and positional awareness in addition to concentration. 1-3 if we go and attack from the off
  11. Good stuff from Leggo, naming and shaming is rare now Surely these 2 will have to respond?
  12. Where you the guy who asked about thomson's foreword to filthy phil's collection of bigoted rants?
  13. I know m8, spent a good few years in them but the term is a bit of a misnomer if your meaning liberal as in ‘namby pamby’ people who are so fair minded as to never object, although the state of British politics and media reporting in general with all the corruption or scandals of recent years does beg the question of who does ever question power these days? If so then I’m with you but liberalism as a political and social philosophy is founded on ideas like freedom of expression, civil rights, religion, trade, democracy, legal and social equality. These principles are what our democracy is based on as opposed to other political systems like fascism. This is why so many have been annoyed by the media witch hunt against Rangers as it goes against the values of objectivity and fairness that most British people take for granted even though we know that equality is still just an ideal. Britain is still one of the world’s most developed countries in this regard but our media has become increasingly unethical in the last decade with more and more journalists like Thomson around who are willing to manipulate situations for their own ends. Social media seems to have made the problem worse. I know, for example, that I could write a critical blog about any maligned social group today and have many threats by tomorrow. But such problems are not the fault of liberal universities or students. I think it’s the opposite in that every thing is much more driven by alleged economic necessities outside of academia rather than principles. The right to question is the most revered principle of all to universities and academics as knowledge can not evolve without it. It’s what distinguished the enlightenment from the dark ages and brought science and modernity. It’s probably were a witch hunt gets its name from. Students have this drummed into them and will be found in most protests against unfair treatment, censorship, or movements for social change. So no doubt journalism students would be taught to be critical. For me a large part of the story in all this was the media. Thomson and Daly even suggested so themselves when saying media failure would make a good subject for the students to do dissertations on. What makes me laugh though is they are meaning media failure in relation to other people failing to dig the dirt on whyte when the much bigger media failure was the witch hunt level of biased reporting in all forms of media. It even made an experienced journalist, Traynor, say he was ashamed of his profession and quit. Thomson and Daly are either too busy thinking of themselves as staunch upholders of the truth or are ignoring this bigger failure because they became part of it. The funny thing is that anyone taking their advice will soon realise this as will anyone writing books on the subject. Charles Green and Traynor’s book will hopefully be the first of many as the media’s reporting on the club is probably what has sickened me the most. Even in the talk both Thompson and Daly could still not resist making negative remarks about ebts and Charles Green. For Thompson it sounded like job done and he was far milder than usual. He came in and ran with the pack and would just have batted away questions on his biased reporting as being brave enough to report the truth as they always have a bit of biasedly selected evidence to give the articles a sense of credibility and so it would have been difficult to get enough time to question him for long enough to demonstrate his bias. I read about his interview with a sick Hugh Adams the other day but I don’t know enough about it to say if asking him about this would have made him stumble. It didn’t sound like it was his finest moment though. But Daly’s programme was different as it as it was clearly filmed in a manner that was designed to make it seem as if all sorts of shady and dodgy dealings were going on at Ibrox. I’m sure there were dark backgrounds, dodgy sound effects, and all that type of stuff on a programme that was made before the club was found guilty of anything. I had to laugh as Daly says the media did get round to having a go. To right they did thanks to this bafta winning biased piece of journalism which had obviously reached prejudicial conclusions which proved to be wrong. You can sense his longing for the appeal to go against us because the verdict was so out of line with the portrayal of the club in the programme. It is a definite sign of guilt that so many in the media long for an appeal. The media pre-judged the club and some journalists should not be allowed to write about Rangers again. Sorry for the long winded post but for me that programme was more damaging to Rangers than the rtc or any of the other stuff. I would have made him uncomfortable and was expecting a bear or two to put him on the spot but maybe it was a class of first year students and they were a bit fearful. Or maybe no one is as aware of all this as us sad bastards on RM But it was an opportunity missed to highlight how poorly the club has been treated by the media as these people don’t often take questions face to face.
  14. love these twitter bears, almost as good as being at the meeting
  15. Fair play to you op for the thought and effort you have put into your post but I think you over estimate our current side. We would face up to the fucks no matter the circumstances, be it the loss of all our former players or a fatality or two to our current side, but they would win at the moment.
  16. Cheers for posting this bud, probably the best post I've seen on here, love seeing old matches Anyone tell me if it's possible to save this onto my pc so I can put it onto a dvd?
  17. Not any forceful questions, how surprising. Instead of asking about the way his programme's shady depiction of Rangers use of ebt's led to a witchunt against the club or if he was proud of the damage done given the system was proved legal? Also the obvious influence of rtc blog and filthy phil on both rather than just a question on Thomson's foreword? How many threats on journalists have led to arrests and if few or none then why? No challenge to the reference to the Sun's failure to run with the promotion of a bigots book as being down to intimidation and not the incubator blog. Think they are right enough about press failure but they got away easily with they're part in all this in a room full of tims. Thompson even talks about 'Craigy Bhoy' at one point. No wonder they hung around, no bears with balls at Napier. Also still openly trying to blacken Charles Green. Must sicken them how good a job the man's doing.
  18. Prso one is good as are all 9iar ones I seen, especially from the year that we done the filth 5-1. I remember thinking the Baxter one was dissapointing. Anyone know what's the best dvds to see the old guy's like Henderson, Baxter, and Stein?
