  1. Get this sectarian bigot reported, I've sent complaints to; https://ictfc.com/contact https://www.scotland....uk/hate-crime/ The more complaints the better.
  2. We have a fair bit of talent within our squad but as we are playing in the Scottish 3rd div I'm not in the least surprised that English teams are not coming in for our players Scottish teams couldn't afford them. Hell we're putting players out on loan to the division above where we're playing. Onward & upward GERS!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. I assumed the 120 days started at the AGM but I fully expect Mr. Wallace to be taking positive action during these 120 days to get our costs under control and present to us a sustainable business model at the end of the 120 day period. I'm also hoping he will spell out his vision for the club going forward for the next few years & how much finance he intends to raise to get us back to challenging in the top tier & getting in to the CL. Look forward to reading the Wallace vision for RANGERS.
  4. Some people like the sound of their own voice (or blogs) Graham Wallace has a first class CV I believe we are very fortunate to have him, he certainly cannot be blamed for our financial failure he's only been here a matter of weeks but already he is tackling the Ranger's long term problem "Over Spend." I believe Graham Wallace will prove to be the best CEO we've had in the modern era but only time will tell. Mr. Wallace has started the essential cost cutting exercise let him finish it. Cut costs, increase season ticket prices & increase the other revenue streams & we can be in good health before we return to the top tier plus we have 3 transfer windows between now & then. More power to your elbow Mr. Wallace get on with restoring Rangers to financial good health.
  5. Wallace has made it abundantly clear that we need to shed 15% from our costs so he's asked our playing staff to accept a 15% pay reduction imminently sensible proposal. The players of course can reject the proposal which they appear to have done, next step move on players to achieve the 15% required cut, normal business. The books must be balanced I support Wallace, get the job done Mr Wallace & bring reality & common sense to IBROX.
  6. Wallace is a true professional & he obviously thinks he needs a more experienced commercial man on board to drive Ranger's revenue streams. Phil Nash has an excellent CV, I think Wallace will get it right long term. The current board plus Phil Nash as a consultant probably represents the best management team we've ever had but they need time & stability.
  7. According to the BBC no complaints have been made regarding the Lennoxtown land deal, this must be reported to the European Commission. Any specific complaints relating to State Aid on this matter should contact the European Commission atStateaidgreffe@ec.europa.eu GET YOUR COMPLAINTS AWAY.
  8. Excellent summary of the situation D'Artagnan, we need to get this on to every social media site & keep banging the drum. It is well known that GCC has been corrupt for decades and a number of councilors involved in these dodgy land deals are Celtic shareholders & season ticket holders. I think a blog designated to the Co-op, GCC & Celtic would be a big success. Keep up the good work D'Artagnan.
  9. Lennon is good for a laugh he never fails us, he is a poor manager & his RAG, TAG, BAG of JOURNEYMEN gets weaker every year. I expect RANGERS to raise substantial funds over the next 12 months which will allow us to strengthen our improving squad once again. Even now the gap is not large & by the time we return to the top flight I fully expect us to be stronger than Lennon's RAG, TAG, BAG of JOURNEYMEN.
  10. The liquidators have a duty to go after every penny due to old co and they will. I'm sure the SFA & the SPFL are very concerned about the liquidator's enquiries they could bankrupt both parties. Both parties have financial problems they are in dispute over the cost of reconstruction, the SFA are admitting they agreed to pay certain elements of reconstruction but need more time to pay & the SPFL cannot pay so both have financial problems. Let's hope the liquidator pushes them over the edge.
  11. How pathetic £2 million a year for 58 games a year just crumbs & Doncaster has still not found a sponsor. He could offer the Chinese a half price deal as we are approaching halfway but no BRITISH company will touch Doncaster's toxic brand. Without RANGERS in the top flight Doncaster has nothing to sell.
  12. Celtic’s Mortgages to Co-operative Bank and Glasgow City Council: Westhorn Training Ground POSTED BY FOOTBALLTAXHAVENS ⋅ OCTOBER 29, 2013⋅ LEAVE A COMMENT FILED UNDER MORTGAGES Celtic F.C. Limited, the wholly owned subsidiary of Celtic PLC, have loans from the Co-operative Bank of £34 millionhttp://www.thesundaytimes.co.uk/sto/business/Finance/article1304380.ece which are secured against land in 3 mortgages: Celtic Park Celtic Triangle [The land around Celtic Park] Westhorn Training Ground This post relates to the Westhorn Training Ground which lies right next to Barrowfield, Celtic’s old training centre. It is the cross hatched area in the map above. Mortgages Celtic PLC has two mortgages on the Westhorn land. All Outstanding mortgages can be view at the bottom of: https://www.duedil.com/company/SC003487/celtic-plc/financials One to the Co-operative Bank: And another to Glasgow City Council: The amazing coincidence is that the two mortgages were created the same day, the 21st April 2009. So are were led to believe that Celtic, Glasgow City Council, the Co-operative Bank and Harper McLeod, who drafted the Celtic-Co-operative Bank mortgage, were in the same room making the transfers and agreements? Or was there a lot of to and fro’ing across Glasgow that day? Seems strange that the land became security on a Co-operative Bank loan the same day it was sold by Glasgow City Council. Hmmm coincidence? Questions? Why did Celtic want Westhorn in April 2009? Lennoxtown Training Centre was opened in October 2007, by the then chairman, Brian Quinn, a year and half earlier. It obviously wasn’t wanted to extend Barrowfield, their old training centre. They already had Lennoxtown. It is understandable for Celtic to acquire land near their ground, in the Celtic Triangle, however Westhorn is not nearby. Why continue with an irrelevant purchase – unless someone else places a higher value on it – perhaps the Co-operative Bank? Why were Glasgow City Council selling the land when it obviously wasn’t going to be developed as a training ground? Why not sell the land for residential development like the old Belvidere Hospital site nearby and get higher council taxes every year? Or hold a competitive auction? In the Glasgow City Council mortgage above, the area is 5.33 Hectares which is 53,300 sq metres. That’s about 7.5 football pitches, assuming 7,000 sqm a pitch. That’s a lot of houses. So what was the valuation of the land? Valuation Differences In Glasgow City Council’s Executive Committee report for 30th November 2007, available under reportshttp://www.glasgow.gov.uk/councillorsandcommittees/DocumentSearchPublic.asp on their website, it states: However Gerry Braiden, in The Herald article titled ‘Celtic close to deal over disputed land‘ on Wednesday, 17th January 2007 stated: ‘Despite the intervention of the District Valuer it has not been possible, after almost two years, to agree a price for Westthorn Recreation Ground, previously valued at around £5m.’ http://www.heraldscotland.com/celtic-close-to-deal-over-disputed-land-1.851123 That’s quite a discrepancy between £675,000 and £5 million. One is over 7 times the other. The price paid is quite a discount. Considering that the day Glasgow City Council sold the land, it then becomes security for part of the Co-operative bank loan it appears as if the purpose was to facilitate the delivery of security for the Co-Operative Bank loan? Surely this is state support and against EU regulations as well as UEFA Financial Fair Play [FFP] rules. And who is on the UEFA board for FFP, former Celtic chairman, Brian Quinn. Which valuation was placed on the land within the Co-operative Bank mortgage £675,000 or £5 million or more? Note: The reason Glasgow City Council have mortgage is to have Standard Security to ensure they get 50% of any uplift in value if Celtic sold the land within 5 years of the sale as can be seen above in the Executive Committee extract above. With the sale in 2009 then this mortgage will lapse in 2014.
  13. KingBillyLives good post but too intelligent for some but don't give up the more intelligent are on your side. Some on our side ended up going to the wrong school, I blame the education system.
