  1. Took me a few seconds to identify who our centre half was with the moppy hair Great game, remember one of the first games I watched at The Cock Tavern when I first move down to London.
  2. I was at the game today and really surprised about this. The lad was getting pelters rightly for making the meal of a first half challenge and going down again. From where we were the penalty looked soft so a lot booed him for it too (and the penalty). In terms of where it was thrown, although there were set Brazil/Scotland areas, there were a lot of mixed areas and was quite good natured (apart from the twunt behind me shouting abuse at anything Scotland did). I would really think that if this happened that there would have been a bigger outcry during the game. Seems strange that it wasn't picked up by the media at all.
  3. He voted in just 8% of votes in parliament as MP for Bow.
  4. He was an absolute joke as an MP in Bethnal Green and Bow. Barely spent any time in parliament votes instead fannying about on Big Brother
  5. I agree with this, perhaps a game with Scotland against easy-ish opposition may do his confidence/form some good.
  6. Its hardly our top squad though, feels like a 'B' International going by the opposition.
  7. Yup remember watching these while at Uni in England.
  8. Christ. Should have won this, cracking game though and apart from our composure in goal, the team have largely been excellent. Sadly I fear this result may have sealed our fate as 3rd in the table. But not a bad thing considering how poor we were last year.
  9. Has any other high profile player except the man himself ever used the Webster ruling?
  10. One thing I have immense appreciation for Fergie is his ball retention, he would very rarely lose the ball even if under pressure, something we miss from him in big European games and the Scotland team. Though in later years he seemed to really struggle in terms of what he did afterwards with it and his creativity lacked. But Fergie in 2000-2003 was immense with his pace and I guess the personnel around him brought out the best in him. One of the top midfielders in Europe at the time IMO.
