  1. I can't be the only one that thinks the ccv deal is out there to placate the hordes in what is looking extremely likely a very poor January window?

From stating they had £70 million in the bank we were led to believe that they were on the brink of spending £20 million in this window.....so far they have apparently overpaid for a winger(a position they already have around 4 in their squad) Rogers stating they will only go to £6/7 million could be telling.....are they seriously linked to sign anyone else?

  2. It looks like the January window is a thing of the past for major Players in England these days.....it looks like the days of £40/50 million deals in January are a scanr memory.....hardly any movement whatsoever

    Goldson who? I jest..

I honesty was worried about this tonight due to previous years after the break.

Very confident a treble is on if we get 2 good signings in.

Said as much to my mate heading to work today.....twice we fucked it away to Killie after the winter break and it had a snowball effect on performances.....tonight sees a shift in mentality, it was a banana skin in the making but handled superbly

  4. I was over at the shop at NEH last week, the amount of stock in there is unbelievable, they really should have a massive sale, the strips are down to £35 but are obsolete in 4 months time....as someone just said their are far to many ranges....I genuinely couldn't keep up what was what:lol:

  5. I've just noticed this thread has 82 pages in 4 months:lol:

Out the 82 pages i doubt their will be too many positive posts about the lad, a MB signing who will see this season out (doubt we have much choice at this stage) and be moved on one way or another in the summer....the scary thing is and these are big ifs at this stage.....we recruit well enough in the coming 10 days, we could win a treble and perhaps reach at least the quarters in the Europa League

Dessers could walk away a treble winner & be part of the only Rangers team to beat a Spanish team on Spanish soil, he will most likely end the season with around 20 goal contributions and he will still and rightly so labelled a flop:lol:....the mind boggles how fitba works these days:confused:

Are Goldson and Balogun suspended for Hibs away?

Goldson definitely....not sure about Balogun mate, he missed the Kilmarnock game after his straight red....unaware if he has totted up too many points....the suspension normally isn't normally instant....ie Goldson went over the mark getting booked against them but he was able to play against Killie

What year did the new Govan stand open 81-82?

I had my first ST in 86 at the Govan rear red section was called the premier club then Red section was the last section next to the Broomloan so if they did ever get part of the Govan for league games it could only have been for at most 6 games

Alsi I’m sure section red HMS sat their early 80’s ( 84 I think they started out)  that’s where the name comes from

Aye it wasn't many games mate, I couldn't say for sure but it may only have been 1 or 2 games

No we never we had behind their goal that held 18 thousand and had part of their main stand the allocation has changed over the years but until they put seats in their ground we regularly had more tickets than them

i don’t need to read that above because I witnessed it with my own eyes

also our ground only held roughly 38- 40 thousand during the 80’s they never got half the allocation lol

Broomloan stand west enclosure and part of the main stand was what they got at one point

They did get a bit of the Govan also in the early 80s

Sherrock fails again to get a tour card

Good.....I'm fed up with this fawning over her by the media....she had her 5mins of fame..time to move on

  10. It was a bounce game with zero urgency.....my concern is the level of finishing considering it's a bounce game....people are supposed to produce wonders in a training environment when their is zero pressure applied....Scott Wrights efforts especially the first one was actually diabolical and embarrassing.....a hurried right foot shot that seriously went about 15 yards wide....add to to lack of composure shown as usual by Dessers & Cifuentes then it made for a depressing watch.....some players are or never will be good enough for our club...watching that bounce game yesterday only enhanced it for me
