[Said a father to his son]

A poem written for me by my Dad on the back of an "Official Rangers Supporter Certificate" when I was 10. Edited it a wee bit to remove our name.

There are things that will happen in your life that will leave your senses reeling,

The greatest one for me is sitting by your side to watch the Rangers there is no better feeling,

When the Rangers score and I turn and see your smiling happy face,

My mind goes to an older time set in the same place,

When my father took me to hear the famous Ibrox roar,

And the face I see upon you is the same face I once wore

So like my father before me, and his father too

Our family through the generations has always been true blue,

Now my fathers gone and some day I'll go too,

But whenever you're in Ibrox looking at your sons smiling happy face,

Remember your old Dad, I'll be somewhere round the place

So please always remember it's more than just a game,

Supporting the Rangers comes with our family name,

So cheer the boys through every trial and danger,

You are something special Son and so are Glasgow Rangers
