If they are equal after a 3-1 victory on the last day of the season then your 2-0 victory instead would lose you the league as you would be a goal short, despite scoring a belter of a bicycle kick.
You’re moving the goals. That’s a different scenario

Nah if goal difference is equal it goes to goals scored. It has been like that for as long as I can remember.
And if goals scored are equal?

No. Assuming they're the only goals in the game 3-1 is better than 2-0 if it's in the league.
It’s not- it’s still +2 and if it comes down to goal difference goals against count.

Marvin Andrews was not hopeless
He was overrated tbh

Say you have 8 chances hit the post three times, score a penalty and a goal via a bicycle kick - is that better than scoring a hat trick and an own goal?

Tavernier scored 19 the last season we won the league. We've won it with Miller on 22, De Boer on 20, Wallace on 21 and even Hateley on as little as 15. In fact rarely in my time has our top scorer been as high as 29 and Dessers still has 6 games to play.
Those seasons we had goals from midfield and wings adding to our overall total. We have Tav and Dessers (and a loanee in Sima) carrying the can.
our midfield need to contribute more.
Dessers has 13 league goals, he might not even match Hateley -

Morelos failed to score more than 18 goals in 4 of the 6 seasons with us (and for context he played a minimum of 43 games every season at Rangers).
Dessers is on 19 and counting on his first season. The criticism of him this year has been way over the top, he's a talented forward that's lacked consistency for sure, but I think he'll kick on and do much better next year.
In order for us to rely on him over a season to win stuff he has to add ten goals to his current tally.
I think that is what people are doubting
I hope he irons out his decision making and becomes the striker we have needed for a long time

I've followed Rangers since 1960 and this is the worst Rangers team I've ever seen.
The defence is weak, the midfield is ineffective, and the front men, when they do get service, rarely make good use of it.
And why oh why does Tavernier have to take every throw in, every corner, and every free kick?
Did you go into hibernation when John Greig was manager?

Be real. We are not selling him in the summer after just one season. That’s never happening.
it’s just wishful thinking

He’s second fiddle to Danilo Pereira da Silva next season. He’s a stop gap just now

Wonder why Goldson was dropped - rumour mill saying he had a bust up with the manager. If thats the case then maybe Balogun is first pick for the rest of the season. Think Balogun had a good game today.
Gaffer said “tiredness” - was supposed to be dropped at Dundee but Balogun was unwell so he didn’t

We don’t need five wins.
We need one win, rest and prepare.
Then win one more, rest and prepare.
And repeat.
Only by giving total focus to the next game (and the next game only) can we do what we have to do.
Forget five wins, win tomorrow then go again.
You just broke down 5 wins into chunks.
it’s still five wins.

It kills any intensity. You see they cunts across the city. The ball goes out, their ball boys throw it to the nearest player and they take a quick throw in.
Time we've dicked about waiting on Tav every cunt is marked, and the opposition have got back into shape.
Even our “ball boys/girls” need their arse kicked. How many times have you seen two balls on the pitch at ibrox - fucking up our rhythm.
such an easy fix

I can’t believe that Clement doesn’t know what other players in the squad may be good at free kicks. If it’s not an area he’s looked at, he’s not doing his job right. If he has and there are others who are better in training, but aren’t getting a chance in a game, he’s not doing his job right.
Or throw ins or corners
I said it earlier it’s not just Clement, try every manager since Tav arrived
That’s a lot of managers who haven’t tried something different

are Ayr fighting on upto 4 fronts every season? are Ayr expected to win the premier league and possible 2 cups every year? , you know exactly what I'm saying with the expectations comment your just choosing to carry on being silly.
yes I live in Scotland, have done for 46 years, supported Rangers all my life, I know what myself and every other fan expects even though we all know sometimes its unreasonable, but one thing thats not unreasonable is that our tradition or winning and giving 100% is upheld no matter who plays for us, and we arent getting that in the last few years from the players, wether that means we need a Scottish core or some Rangers men or just professionals who do what their paid for is everyones own opinion.
My point is simple……. We need decent football players with a winning mentality that are highly motivated and competitive.
I couldn’t give two fucks if they are “Rangers men” or not. You start looking for “Rangers men “ you have immediately shrunk your talent pool.

You mad! My mate is a raging Ayr Utd fan. Try telling him he goes to all their games with that mindset 😂
I didn’t say I wasn’t going to post in your car crash thread.
can I ask you something? Do you live in Scotland?

what you on about now, nobody in this thread said anything about refusing players, as you pointed out, Souttar doesnt support us, but hes Scottish and hes been here for a bit now so he gets what its about as saw by his reaction at full time yesterday.
But your thread title……… erm …..

Plus…….
say you had the best young Scottish player in your sights. Would you refuse him because he supported Alloa?

That we need to win every game. That us as a support wont accept not giving 100% in every game, That they need to be prepared for every other teams players to want to injure us. That the refs will bow to fenian pressure.
the list is long and you dont need to be a Rangers man to know that, you just need to be clued up on what it takes to play for Rangers. Most players in Scotland dont need to deal with any of this outwith us and them.
injuries 😂 we’ve injured the majority of our players at training ffs
So is this not the expectations of every club? Do you think players playing for Ross County turn up and don’t give 100%? Or Falkirk or QOTS or any club. They might be a poor football player but I am positive they give their all.
your thread mate is a car crash
