  1. Think I clapped every opposition team off the park at full-time when we were in the Third Division and League One. In terms of players I think the most recent was Steven Thompson while we were in the Championship.
  2. Here was me thinking that double figure points deficits were unusual.
  3. They say there will be tonnes, but it would be worth it for the Advocaat Years and Daily Updates on their own. I think they will try and do reviews of classic games on a semi-regular basis too if you’re that way inclined.
  4. Think the better comparison (still not even close) would be with Firmino.
  5. Part of the team that failed in the playoffs so I’ve perhaps marked him guilty by association.
  6. I thought Murphy was better today than he has been the last few weeks but still nowhere near where he was with an actual left back behind him.
  7. Nicholl said pre-match he's only been available for the last few weeks.
  8. Marked the fabled McGinn completely out of the game (who incidentally started to play well once we asked Halliday to marshal our midfield) but he was always coming off at some point - the shift he put in after barely kicking a ball all season was immense.
  9. On the evidence of his last few games played Docherty may well have came on and been just as pish as Halliday. Thank fuck this season is over.
  10. Definitely in the mix with Cribari, Darren McGregor and Senderos as our worst centre halves of recent times, which is saying something given the stiff competition.
  11. Officials definitely cost us on Tuesday and in the first game against Hibs but our useless bastard squad and first pair of managers have a great deal more to answer for. Kilmarnock, St Johnstone and Hamilton at home. Dundee away. These are games the Sheep would have won and have won this season which is why they are 2nd.
  12. Good Rangers teams don’t leave their fate up to our rivals.
  13. Holt’s red card was idiotic, Tav sold himself and that geriatric fuck Martin had the chance to clear it. Had Tavernier not been on the pitch we would have been gubbed, he was our driving force going forwards.
  14. McCrorie also needs to spend some time in the gym in the close season, has been bullied by celtic’s strikers and even the likes of McLean tonight.
  15. I wouldn’t be averse to keeping Alves around for certain games provided he were partnered by a faster CB who could cover in behind (albeit one with a brain so Cardoso won’t do). Wouldn’t let hi touch games against celtic/Hibs or any other attack built upon pace.
  16. Speaking of reporting folk ridiculous Americanisms such as “meds” should result in an instant suspension. Her Majesty’s English only on the forum.
  17. 4th beat off Killie and Hibs, draw with the Sheep.
  18. And then turned the sharp instrument on himself.
  19. Reminds me of Novo in terms of speed, work rate and commitment (minus finishing). Having a wide midfielder capable of defending is key for games against celtic, Aberdeen and Hibs when there is a battle on in the midfield. Hopefully we’ll go further in Europe next season too, so we’ll have to play more of those sort of games. I’d extend.
  20. No chance the polis will allow any sort of late kick off
  21. Agreed, before Windass had me eating humble pie the day I would have played Hodson and Tav on the right and shifted Candeias to the left. Then again, fuck playing Hodson at right back anawl.
  22. Unfortunately for every beautiful assist there is a goal lost by him being five yards behind his man at the back post.
  23. Never thought of it that way but a fair point!
  24. Just makes Wednesday's last gasp antics all the more infuriating.
  25. If the atmosphere is good tomorrow with it half-full then by all means, if not stick with Hampden. Allocation is enough of a problem just now with no mark clubs with delusions of grandeur without adding another 17,000 seats to be filled.
