You've posted this from an already established negative opinion rather than trying to be neutral. There are so many holes in it that it would be pointless debating as it is clear you would never move your position.

Something that is refreshing to see is Darren McGregor, Kenny Miller and Kris Boyd really wanted to sign for us.
    Happy days.

Given that McInnes is a lot of people's choice to replace Ally
and given that McInnes has tried very hard to sign Boyd
and given that lots of posters have expressed reservations about us signing Boyd
Does that mean that McInnes is no longer a candidate to replace McCoist?

Boyd is a goal scorer. Miller is a goal scorer. Clark is a goal scorer. Daly is a goal scorer. Gallagher is emerging as a goal scorer. Stoney is an emerging goal scorer.
Winning promotion out of the Championship at first attempt was always going to be the most difficult of the lower leagues. More so now that Hibs and Hearts are in it. Experienced goal scorers with a track record of handling the pressure at Rangers was always likely to be on the buying agenda to add to the options that can be fielded when it is nil nil with 20 mins to go and a win is needed. A bench with strong credible striking options would - I think - be what any manager wants. So adding Boyd - if he signs - adds to the strking options. Yes Stoney is also an emerging goal scorer (and others in the youth squad too) but I guess that if the top priority by a very very large distance is to win promotion this coming season then the opportunity to add (if affordable) experience and track record of delivery would win out over passing over that opportunity.
We all want back into the top flight asap and back to the very top of it also asap. Striking the balance between relying on experience and introducing emerging top talent will not be an easy job to do. At the end of the day after each game I expect the point will be did we win and is it another 3 points in the bag. Playing better football than we've seen all to often and getting players to perform as individuals and as a team to the best of their talents on a consistent basis will doubtless be a key thing to achieve. But points will be more important and for points you need goal scorers.

I know you struggle with the concept of squad - and I know that every young player we don't play is a Messi in waiting - but Hutton is a decent squad player, with a decent amount of experience and good cover. Last year of our 4 recognised CM players - Hutton was out injured a long spell, as was McLeod - so Law and Black played - this season it might end up being another two with spells out injured, and if not out injured offering competition for places - Hutton offers both competition and is a decent squad member - no real issues in giving him another years deal.

So if Telfer does a bad job - his comments were spot on but his coaching was shit.
So if Telfer does a good job - his comments were shit but his coaching was spot on.
Now if Telfer is a bit player next year but comes good the year after then Sinclair was spot on with his coaching and his comments but then the club / Ally were fools for not offering him a huge salary to stay.
(... ye canny win as a Rangers coach - that's the rule).

Might as well shut the club now, to be honest. Liquidate the company, lock the gates.
Don't know what we'll do now that Telfer has left.

This obsession with playing "youth" and "potential" would have kept us in the bottom tier. Every player that's left us, particularly those that only a handful have seen play, are apparently world beaters who would go on to have fantastic careers and we've let them goooooooo bwahhhhh.
Fact is, most of these players reach their level away from Rangers, look to the most recent messiahs that are testament to that, when you think of McCabe, Ness, Fleck, Wilson, Shinnie, Loy, Lennon et al. You can't just keep throwing in promising youngsters and expect them to succeed. You need the strength of character of a born winner and a strong desire to get the best out of yourself on top of ability to succeed at Rangers. Some come through okay, Ferguson, Hutton, McGregor, Adam (perhaps) but that's the nature of it with us. If you're not mentally strong enough you're likely to fail with us, but then you might still carve out a decent career where the pressure and expectation aren't the same.
With respect to Telfer, I've not seen him play so can't comment, but if he thinks he's more chance of breaking through than he has at Ibrox then that's his decision. Rangers should NEVER promise to play anyone and certainly shouldn't be held to ransom by a youngster who's yet to prove himself.

There is no current true value. It's alot of shite a player is worth whatever some daft club wants to pay for them.
Look across the city. Wanyama signed for them for 900k, 2 year later he's away for 12million do you think he's worth that?
The only reason they are offering 900k for Wallace is because we're in the 2nd division and they know we have to cut costs and we need money. So there trying to get him on the cheap.
Wallace is not worth 900k. If he was playing for some shite down in England he would be getting sold for about 4 or 5 million.
There taking the piss they have done it with us for years.

Selling Wallace would be more short term vision, which the CEO seems to be against. Unless he wants or asks to go then we should keep him.

The suggestion that we are knocking back bids, says to me we are not as bad financially as some make out.
Hell the papers said we would need a chink of investment just to keep the lights on next month ( no laughing at the back), so if we can knock back almost a million quid then we IMO can't be as bad as is made out.
It's all paper talk right now anyway, I'll wait till something official gets said.

    Yes he is.
People keep saying "they" when we have almost a totalyy different board to the "they" that "spunked" 22m of the share issue.
Lets worse case scenario this for a second, lets say these investors that have put over 17m into the club, decide to see their shares go to the wall completely, and refuse to invest a small amount each.
Wouldn't that give all these Rangers men who can do better, a great chance to pick up the club for peanuts and drive us onto the glory that some think would be possible under them.
Or someone like Dave King to ride into the rescue.
It would finally get the "spivs out"
All that being said, I think some are panicking where it isn't needed, we all knew costs would need to be cut, we all knew it. i am still shocked so many are actually surprised that it's happening.
