Some players are able to make the most of what they have and have a football mentality to go with it. In Matondo's case it is using his pace and making decisions. It is what it is and Gaffer has to work and try to improve and polish him. Might get a turn out of him in some of the games left.

Can't get consistency out of mediocre players. He had them over performing for a bit. We won a cup,,partly because scum went out. These imposters have contracts, and the Club or Clement might actually want to, or have to keep some of them. I am happy enough to have Clement with better players. After that interview last night there is nothing wrong with his imagination! Some fans saying it was just spin, but fans are sick of that shite.

That was something that Phil said he had been working on with him. Getting him to emulate the great players like Beckam with these moves. It sounded like a load of pish to me.

Their own fans gave nearly all the players pelters post match for the performance. They got a soft pen and missed. They blew it. A wee guy then shows us how he can get his boot higher than a female gymnast and it somehow ends up on a players face. "You need to look at the whole move though." Yeah , we did and we all know it may not have been a red years ago, but like hand balls, the game right now, is the way it is.

Those wins are character building. Love them!

There isn't a better centre half in Scotland though? Carter Vickers when fit maybe? That boy last night could have scored that goal against anyone. It was Goldsons position wrong side that got him in trouble. Miovski had his hand on Goldsons throat pushing him off.......clever. We also signed the other best Scottish defender in Souttar , and still not good enough? Hard to buy a top defender in budget. Any better than those two, go to bigger clubs, for money out of our range. Need to keep looking of course. Got to be someone.........just like Butland was the someone.

Dessers is contributing something. As rough as he is, he gets into the box a lot and has chances. Even scores now and again. It is obvious, that until we get better in the door, he will be filling the jersey up front. Wonder if Manager really believes in him? Suppose he has to ATM.

His mentality must be good though..........he smiles more than any other in the team now that Sakala is not there. Always a good thing in life.

It is the reason a lot of these players we land with have moved around clubs. No consistency. A bit of form now and again, then down to a level that is no good and disappoints. Phil will sort this out.
