You know exactly what D'Art said, meant and has discussed throughout this thread.
Your attempts to continue to stoke controversy in your other sites by attacking a bear in such a way only continue to undermine any remaining credibility you have. You should be thoroughly ashamed of what you have done in that blog, and I hope you have enjoyed the bit of limelight that you and your acolytes have created for you over the last week because you have ensured that over the short, medium and long-term that you will only be seen as an embarrassing irrelevance.
Have you even noticed how many of those in RM who would naturally support your agenda have turned against you in the last 48 hours? How many people have seen you, RSL, ninjaman or whoever for what you truly are, and what you are trying to do?
It is going to be really tough for you very soon Bill, because you are only going to be ignored - and no doubt this will lead to louder and louder squealing from you and more and more controversial blogs to try and get yourself the attention that you clearly crave.
Good luck with all that, you have royally screwed up this week.
As long as I have you commenting on several threads several times, LB, I won't be ignored.

No, D'Art it is in your post and on this thread what you think of fans defending the club in plain speech.
At least own it.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing but (though I could be wrong) I'm pretty sure upon reflection young William would change his description of Filth Multi-Names as this republican Rangers-hating scum-bucket should be attacked (metaphorically-speaking, naturally, officer) on site.
Philth is a maggot.
End of.
Nobody has had a go at Multi Names more than me. Check my backlist.
But the reality is that he has no credibility and we have bigger things to contend with than this Irish fairy tale teller.
I have no issue with Phil because I don't read him orthink about him. That was my meaning and I think D'Art is well aware of that.
If I did consider Phil a serious threat my instincts as a bear would be to defend the club. But D'Art does not agree with Rangers fans defending Rangers.

Of course, bloggers see it as their job in life - and to legitimise one blogger who hates our club as 'doing his job' legitimises Bill's own existence as a blogger.
Bloggers are a new breed of hormonal teenager who think they are special, with unique insight and deep understanding that the 'average joe' just doesn't 'get'.
Embarrassingly, they are mistaken.
D'Art and I teensgers?
From dinosaurs to teenagers, D'Art!

I wrote about this a few months ago Bill - and outlined my reasons
https://immortalrangers.wordpress.com/2015/03/21/when-the-wind-blows-cold/
Tell it to the VB, D'Art.
You are not going to get a robust defence of the club from this present regime and maybe not from any other.
It will always fall to the fans.
I am grateful we have guys like VB who defend the club, whether you think it's their job or not.
-
Furthermore I don’t think it’s the job of Rangers supporters to be constantly defending the club from unwarranted, unjustified attacks from those who hate her.
Whose job is it, then, D'Art?

Looks like a vote for SNP is totally pointless with the Tories having a majority.

It is our everyday life in this hate-filled sewer called Scotland.

Because you are using THEIR offence and judgement as the measuring stick.why?
is it impossible to be judged on your own actions? do we consistently have to judge ourselves against others? can we not try to solve a problem without involving anyone else? can we not look within ourselves?
It's clear to see that certain things go unpunished elsewhere, but I'm not talking about elsewhere because it's not what I want to discuss, you can keep trying to make this about something else but it's not, it's about our support
in this context parity and whataboutery are interchangeable, look at some of the post on this thread - asking why banners at other grounds don't get punished - that's not the subject for this thread
Of course they are going to be offended.
Their being offended doesn't make it a crime.
-
We played the game and self-policed.
We stamped out the "offensive" songs.
We actually won the moral high ground.
But it didn't change anything. The reason is simple. We are meant to buy into the self-loathing they want to condition us with while they continue their own agenda of hate against us.
-
The key issue is, as D'Art says, parity.
The buzz word to avoid facing this is whataboutery.
-
Haha, always good to inject a bit of humour...
You think it's funny that the PUL community is the main/only target of anti-sectarian legislation?
-
For sectarianism read Protestantism.
Sectarianism is a construct used to condition people in the PUL community that it is unacceptable to fight for what they believe in.

I'd say that Bill's summation of where we're headed is quite correct, what I can't see though is how he depends on Ashley to present leadership in our present crisis. Remember, all our woe's aren't just financial and the type of person that we need to speak out against our detractors doesn't seem to me to be Ashley - a man much reported as the silent man in media circles - or even Llambias, his poodle.
A very valid point

The root of this conversation is a part of your blog that IMO isn't credible, nor can you give a satisfactory answer to the question I asked you.
You are suggesting that Ashely has good intentions but can't see what needs to be done or will do, only when it is too late. For the real world businessman that is a very shrewd Mike Ashely, what you say doesn't make sense.
What would make sense is that with his men on the inside, he can see exactly what is going on, perhaps even more clearly than you. Any decisions would be made accordingly and if his MO remains the same, with his and SD interests at the forefront.
Have answered your question several times
You are boring me now
Will leave you to your sinister connotations and permutations of Mike Ashley's motives and inner workings
You really should be rejoicing over all this
Gives your buddies a chance to pick up the club for crumbs as was always their intent should it all go pear-shaped
-
Bill, you blog and aswell as your opinion, you often send out 'messages' based on inside info.
It's obvious that Ashely has the money to do pretty much what he wants in this world but there is no evidence to suggest that he is suddenly going to start to get generous with Rangers.
What I think might be behind your message is this.
That Ashely has no intention to take Rangers forward, as in your quote "Mike Ashley has the resources to back Rangers and make them a big club like before, even bigger." (and never did) but he will keep us breathing whilst harsh austerity is introduced, so as to keep his onerous contracts being serviced.
You are providing an early excuse for Ashely, trying to say that his business brain or is that machine can't realise what you are seeing and that it will be too late soon. The blame will then be deflected from where it resides.
Why don't you call Sandy and tell him to have a timely word with the guy in the corridor.
You are either truly paranoid or are sending your own wee messages
From the Bow Wine Vaults Not So Loyal perhaps?
-
It's about his intentions and from the outset (2012) they have been with himself and Sports Direct in mind, Rangers would be used as a vehicle.
You seem keen to put out the mesage, "he may leave it all too late the way things are going", can you expand on what you expect?
You seem keen to put out that I am putting out a "message"
I am simply stating my opinion
Ashley has the resources to take Rangers back to stability and success
I think he very likely has the intentions of doing just that
But he may act too late to stop the rot and, as other posters have said, leave us with no club or a greatly diminished one
-
It is obvious, I'm glad you can now see it in the case of Ashely and Rangers.
It's written all over the retail deal, the way he puchased shares instead of investing directly into the club in September, the way he grabbed options for 2 seats on the RIFC board and 2 seats on the TRFC board for a 2M secured loan and his general lack of personal interest and attention.
A shrewd operator, no doubt.
But really it's not about how he got power, it is about what he does with it from now on.
My point is simply that he may leave it all too late the way things are going.
-
No, you've put them there yourself by what you said in the blog.
It's either one or the other.
Good intentions or a businessman who isn't that shrewd.
I think Ashely is a very shrewd businessman but with his own interests in mind.
Imagine that. A very shrewd businessman looking after his own interests.
Will such a concept ever take off?
-
So you are doubting the Ashely business mind and saying that he or his advisors can't see what is going on and the possible consequences.
Do you think that is a credible view?
I think I have made my view quite plain
I also think you are trying to put words in my mouth
If I am wrong, I apologise and can provide diagrams if you are slow to learn

The football has been poor for years under McCoist and nothing was done about it by the various boards.
They went through approximately 100M, they did very well out of it and our football operation and infrastructure wasn't properly

We are a shambles and the buck stops with the board.
Easdale said he knew where investment could be found and we are still waiting.
These were your own words last December
"As I have said before and as Sandy Easdale has recently stated, there is plenty of investment money available from wealthy backers."
Ashely was promoted as the sugardaddy but he prefers his own interests.
Your words in October

and "He also has plenty of time to become a “Rangers man” and take the club to heart."

I can't speak for Sandy so don't know what he was referring to but I do know one big investor backed off. Mike Ashley may be one of those Sandy was talking about.
Ashley certainly has the resources but we are waiting for him to give us his long-term plan if he has one. Doesn't take a lot of brains to work out that he might be too late the way things are going.
