This all news to me! I have a very large extended family the vast majority are bluenoses and I have not heard one word from anyone in my family or any of my mates who are minded not to renew their season tickets.

It may sound daft this but the idea is not to make a profit ( or a big one anyway ) as this becomes liable to taxation.
What we will be doing is reinvesting surplus monies (profit) back into the company i.e. car park, edmiston house etc.
this makes the company bigger and worth more money and therefore the share price goes up.
It's not daft
A lot of football clubs deliberately run at a loss for tax reasons
