I don't fault you mate, the amount of pish I put up with alone with all the death threats was enough for me to give me the bitter taste of Scottish Nationalism because what Scottish Nationalism is is basically National Socialism, no two ways about it. This quote sums it up best:

“Patriotism is the wholesome, constructive love of one’s land and people. Nationalism is the unhealthy love of one’s government, accompanied by the aggressive desire to put down others – which becomes in deracinated modern men a substitute for religious faith. Patriotism is an appropriate, indeed necessary, sentiment for people who wish to preserve their freedom; nationalism is not.” ~ Clyde N. Wilson

I do not forgive or forget the abuse and death threats I received for simply defending my position in voting no and the reason I voted no was simply because the amount of hatred people in this country had towards Margaret Thatcher sent the alarm bells ringing. They hated her for the claims of deregulation and privatisation, she didn't deregulate but that's besides the point, the fact they hate deregulation was enough for me to vote no because they unfortunately do not understand the fundamental basics of economics.
They are the type of people who are so blind they don't even realise that the FSA (Financial Services Authority) controlled the UK banking regulations between 2001 and 2012 and the FSA handbook was more than 10,500 pages long in regulations, in other words completely clueless as to why the banking crisis occurred. So their support in favour of strong government regulation was an immediate alarm bell to me and their hatred of the private sector was enough for me to vote no.
All I was hearing was about Norway this, Norway that, Norway this, that and the next thing, little do these Scottish nationalists comprehend the majority of the Scandinavian countries all have strong free market principles and therefore strong private sectors, sure they may have the higher tax rates and big welfare states but that was harming their economies just as it is harming Norway. But despite the facts, reason and logic I provided I was getting nothing other than abuse and death threats.
So to be quite frank, I don't show the same level of pride in Scotland as I used to simply because it is incredible how misinformed Scotland has become when it comes to economics and the political history and that is to blame on not just the mainstream media but of course the Scottish government. That's what happens when you place education into the hands of the state and give it a monopoly over the information it feeds people with.

Rangers are a British club. We fly the Union Jack. We have a picture of the Queen in our dressing room. We have a massive Protestant following in our fan base. This community has played a part in what we have all built.
The SFA have hurt us at every turn, fixture congestion, transfer bans, fines.
The support within the Scottish national team are the same ones who pressured their clubs into voting us down, sanctions, pushing for title stripping. Call us H*** and dirty orange cheating bastards. The same guys who put a Lee Wallace is a grass banner at a national game. Those who fans who boo Rangers players.
A vote for Yes is a vote for the SNP. Who introduce a football bill which puts fans in jail who sing a song. A ban designed to stamp out our traditions and history. A bill which they know would do the most harm to one teams set of supporters.
A political party whose members take to twitter to call us H***, who fail to denounce the past activities of IRA members. A political party who stepped in to help Hearts and left Rangers to the vultures.
Im fine with anyone who isn't part of the PUL community and supports our club, you have every right, but don't pull the wool over my eyes whilst your standing shoulder to shoulder with a set of fans at Hampden who would happily bankrupt their own club in order to see us die a slow and painful football death, or stand in the voting box ticking SNP who have sections within their party who would gladly see us die and call yourself a Rangers supporter. Because nobody is fooled.

I know how you feel, trust me, I used to be staunchly proud to be Scottish, very proud, before I got into politics and economics I used to proudly boast of this country and its achievements, but all of that changed soon as I got to understand politics and economics, it opened my eyes not only to how ill informed people are especially on the subject of economics.
I remember the first video I put out there in mid 2011 as to why I would vote no to Scottish independence I got heaps of abuse, death threats, even for my defence of Margaret Thatcher, that's when I realised my place, I was not welcome here any longer. Ever since all of that and becoming more and more bitter towards these people I have felt less and less pride in this country, my face does not fit in with this anticapitalist hating country, it really does not.
It's that bad in Scotland that as soon as someone finds out you support capitalism you are all of a sudden viewed as the devil, that's what decades of political indoctrination by mainstream media and government education creates and now I can barely bring myself to support Scotland, for someone who used to be staunchly proud of Scotland I no longer hold that feeling.

I'm going to the game against Malta as I say only because a friend bought me a ticket, he's a Hearts fan which is fair enough, but deep down I'm thinking in my head: "I'm really going to have to fake celebrating if Scotland scores, how come I don't feel anything but distaste and hurt." In fact it's at that stage I would feel good if Scotland were thumped, that's honestly how they've made me feel.

True mate, I know, in fact this is make a break for him, he's got no excuses and not even from me who keeps faith in him and that says something. It's opportunities like this he HAS to take opportunity of.

Celtic are not going to have it easy, look at their fixtures, we haven't either, I know but there's faith there. I don't think they'll pick up as much points this season and teams like Motherwell etc have improved in my opinion.

You're right though, these next 3 games are must wins, must, has to be in order to go into the old firm game, got to believe we can do this, what a turn around it'll be as well.

As big Marv would say: "Keep believing!" folks, we can do this. Need to get the 3 points from each of our next 3 games and hopefully with that opportunity to beat them at Ibrox to level them on points.

Who knows, they might even drop 2 points away to Hamilton. Got to believe. Pedro is under massive pressure now, dropping 2 points away after the last 2 results, maybe slightly excusable against Hibs due to the circumstances but in terms of points overall, just isn't, especially with this given opportunity, he has to do it.

    I'm keeping the faith!

I would agree with most of that, you never know Rangers might be able to turn things around yet, still very early which we're thankful for, just a major disappointment though nonetheless, should've never have ended up 5 points behind.

I'm confident with Mark Allen and the team we'll see quality being brought in to sort out where we're needing, I agree about Kenny, he's been a good servant but we badly need another goal scorer, I know nothing about the Leeds boy we have recently been linked to so it shows there's probably renewed interest in striker, maybe Pedro was just sending media in wrong direction before, who knows?

People are very quick to forget how much Rangers have progressed over the past 4 years, since the day Ally McCoist left Rangers as manager if you cast your mind back to that team, Warburton made a big improvement in that Rangers side it just wasn't good enough to compete at SPFL level and within one season look at the sort of quality we have throughout the squad already.

I do believe we're not that far off, if we can get another goal scorer, hell even try out the Herrera, Morelos partnership, bring Walker in down the left and get a full back, I think we'll be a pretty strong side. Looking at it it was the missed chances which cost us and all it requires is bringing in someone who will score goals, I don't think we're as far off as people think.

Don't care what people's opinion is, I so want to see Moult brought in for this reason, I think he's capable of banging them in and especially if we signed him up. In fact we have a potential partnership we ain't seen yet using Herrera as a target man up front with Morelos, but like you say yet to see any sign of Kenny not being starter.

    5-0 to the mighty Gers!

I expect Rangers to come flying out the traps after that and I think Morelos is going to score a hat trick. If there's any free kicks I think Candeias might score one or Bruno and I think Kenny may score. Cannot wait for this.

I personally have a different perspective on Peña and his performance, I thought he did well to track back and even at one point dived in for a few challenges to win the ball back showing signs that he is the box to box player. There were also moments you could see him linking in midfield to pass and looking to get forward and even attempted a 1-2 that nearly pulled off as well as won us the free kick, he also looked like he had a bit of pace when he did chase back, don't get me wrong there were spells he slowed up. Perhaps the only negative I saw of him was out wide he should've went for the ball rather than hesitated.

I like him personally, I think he looks a good player and can't wait to see him when he's properly up to speed and playing in a Rangers team with 11 men on the park, hopefully this is the start to him getting games so he can get up to match fitness and he should become a good player.

Agreed, it's a matter of time, that was a one off result that was won by the referee, on another day Rangers would've won it. I'm a very positive minded person and Morelos 3 goals in 2 games, he looks fantastic. I'm also very pleased as I've mentioned seeing Peña, he does look the box to box player we need, he even slid in for a challenge at the back to save us and was fighting for the ball, as well as nearly breaking through on goal. I'm excited to see this boy.

Hopefully this is the start of seeing Peña bred into the team. I try and look at these positives simply because let's face it, I could sit and put my head down but what is done is done now, we need to rally forward now and prove that this was a one off result because of that referee. However I do believe Rangers need to take that referee to town, get official complaint put in against him because there's no question, it was blatant cheating.

Hell I even look at the fact we scored a goal down to 10 men as a positive, Rangers have shown they're capable of scoring and had that been 1-1 and we had Jack on the field, I've no doubt in my mind we would've won it.

Agree Rangers would have won with 11 players on the field. The disappointment for me is that they should have been able to win, or at the very least draw even with ten.
The referee was shocking but things have gone against us before and we've fought back. We've won Cup Finals with 9 men because the players showed the right attitude.
Maybe have to accept that we're not the team we used to be but you still expect players to show a bit of desire and I don't think they did.
That said I do think we'll see a reaction going forward starting with Hearts next week, and over the course of the season we'll show we're better than wee teams like Hibs

This is just it, I don't think people realise just what an advantage you have when your team has 11 men against 10, if a team plays well and passes well like Hibs did to be fair, then they're going to take advantage.

It's the reality, soon as I saw the red card my heart sank, it was the killer blow.
