Out: Depends to a large extent on who kicks on under the new gaffer. Some under performers under Gio may well be mainstays under Beale. Definite outs are Davis, Arfield and Shagger at the end of the season. Kent and Alfie I wouldn’t break the bank to keep.

I have backed him and gave every excuse going but time to go please. If he does go, I’ll still have good memories of him for the Europa League, Scottish cup and as a player. This is where it gets messy if he stays

I’d be interested to know the data on conceding from corners when defending zonally compared to picking up a man. I hate zonal marking so hopefully the stats back up my hatred of it!

The one competition he had from the beginning, he won it. Obviously more to it than that but I think he is on to something special. For me he has finally given the team mental strength which we lacked since Sir Walter

I keep getting waves of crushing disappointment. The fact we can win a trophy we haven’t won for over a decade is picking me up though and that the champions league is still possible next season.
Achieve both those things and it will give me some closure and let me look back on a great euro run with some happiness. The run brought so much to the club and fans.
I can’t wait to be back with 20,000 bears tomorrow.

I actually think the team look more of a united team over the last few weeks. Once we solved the age old mystery of playing without Alfie we look like we now have something about us. I didn’t even feel that last season.
I think Gio is getting the team playing the way he wants now and he has also sussed out the tourist.
I’m saying it now - we will get the league back next season.
we are still on for the most unlikely double in my lifetime as well! Need Roofe at least back for that though.

Dundee Utd away was a combination of poor finishing, not getting the break of the ball. Last week is purely down to individual errors, that is something the manager simply can’t plan for. I am usually pessimistic as well in fairness. I think the last ten years have made some supporters that way. This season is probably the first in that time where we can feel we are on the cusp of really pushing on and building but also on the the cusp of a massive retrogression if we don’t win the league. I could ramble for pages but I think with our best team out and all being equal (ifs buts and maybes I know) we are the best in the league which is why it’s tough to take for me.
I don’t think we will win the league but not because we don’t have the best team. I know that comment is cannon fodder and I’d pull it apart if I was a scum fan - make your own luck etc - but that’s my opinion

I think we have played well since the scum game but dropped points undeservedly in my opinion. I’ll therefore take a poor performance and a win from last night.
Fine margins have been going against us with injuries, officials, narrow misses and every error leading to a goal against it seems so hopefully this is a turning point.
