One Of The Best Rangers Pictures Ever
IanFerguson2012 replied to BarneyRabble's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I have the same blow up Rangers player. I took it to the Cup Winners Cup Final in Barcelona. A Spanish polis tried to get it off me & when I would not hand it over tried to burn it with a cigar. Still got it in my Rangers box. -
Neil Alexander signs for Crystal Palace
IanFerguson2012 replied to pcbear's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Delighted he has found a job. He played in many big games for us & took us through div 3. All the best to him for the future. -
Good substitution by Ally today.
IanFerguson2012 replied to Drunk and disorderly.'s topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
It was a good substitution. The team was very good in the first half and their goalie kept them in it. There was mention that we played better without Jig. Not sure why we lost it 2nd half but we finished strongly. -
No reason for Ally to go. He has made good signing this closed season & it's not his fault we have a signing ban until September. We should all be concentrating on supporting the team & ignoring all the board room shenanigans.

***The Official Forfar vs Rangers Match Thread***
IanFerguson2012 replied to bluenose_72's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
BBC showing their colours again, on their live vidi-printer webpage every goal scored is described in a positive way except ....... wait for it ...... Rangers, the say 'Rangers' blushes seem to have been saved with less than eight minutes to go at Station Park. Substitute Fraser Aird scrambles the big-spending Ibrox men level against Forfar in the League Cup.' -
Charles Green returns as consultant
IanFerguson2012 replied to bombaybadboy08's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Welcome back Charles. -
I would expect that instead of boycotting the program every Rangers fan who was free phoned their number it would greatly affect the quality of the show they can put out. Just like you can take down a website by sending it thousands of requests we could take out the Clyde phone in by swamping them with pro-Rangers callers. No matter the subject just ask 'Why are you blatantly biased against Scotland's biggest & most successful club?'

Bigger problem than that, you still using Windows PCs ? Leave the dark side & get a Mac

Tynecastle is bound to go. I don't dislike Hearts but it's shaping up that they will get to start the season in the SPL or whatever it's called and will then melt down. They will be allowed to play out the season if they can afford to. They will probably get relegated so be there for us to humble next season.

how long into the season before we can judge Ally?
IanFerguson2012 replied to Dan Deacon's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Well already it looks like his signings have been ace (so someone must have been helping him of course) and I would expect this team to romp their way through the division & the Ramsdens cup. I think he will be judged on the real cup performances. If we can deal with the sphell teams then fans will look on it as progress. -

Once the BBC in Scotland (as opposed to BBC ALba who we are happy with) sort out their negative approach to Rangers (hopefully ditching a few of their reporters along the way) we can think about taking them seriously and treating them like regular journalists. Until then we have shown that we don't need them. They can't harm us and we will be fine without their presence.

What are you expecting from this season?
IanFerguson2012 replied to bluenose_72's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I hope for entertaining football. Last season the majority of entertainment for the fans was not happening on the pitch. The club did it's best to keep fans happy but the team did not deliver especially after Lewis was injured. -
Looking good for the club. Shows last year was no flash in the pan. I received a new smart card having changed seat. Glad to have one of the newer 'TOGETHER WE ARE RANGERS' ones. I moved to the Copland Road end as we seemed to be scoring all the goals down there. Here's hoping that continues this year.

Kal goes for deal
IanFerguson2012 replied to BRITNEY IS NOT FEELING IT's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I assume he was playing well in the reserves but when he was given some game time in the first team he did not shine. I can't understand how he plays as he only has skill in one foot. -
Very few fans will go along with 'They are satisfied with where we are and have drawn a line in the sand as well. We all need to move on from that'. I would expect it to be about 10 years & with a number of highly successful campaigns behind us before we start to move on. As Mr Mather did not experience the year before last he is not well placed to feel the pain so I will forgive him. (Mather bought 10 per cent of Rangers in July of 2012 for £1million) As far as playing that mob, they are not getting decent opposition for a few years so when we are good enough they won't know what's hit them.
-
It will be a vicious affair. Both teams will need to organise extra security & there will be loads of incidents after the game. I hate them and anything to do with them so I don't miss the fixture in any way. Happy to play aberdeen or dundee utd first to get an idea of how we are progressing on the park. Our pre season has been going well compared to their's but that's not a true test.

Virtual Rangers app for iPhone now available
IanFerguson2012 replied to IanFerguson2012's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
The fixtures list is not updating. The Airdrie game still shows a Saturday. You get Ally & Jig to play with but for the rest you need to pay out £2.99. There are sections for the current squad and for legends. Bert Konterman is a legend? I think the app developers picked people they could get their hands on for the filming required. -
Over 32,000 Season Tickets Now Sold
IanFerguson2012 replied to LeeWallaceRFC's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
I moved seat when the open sale started. When I looked for my old seat in MFNA it was already bought. I would expect most people to buy on the phone or online or even using the renewal form sent out rather than travelling to Ibrox so it's not a surprise that people turning up mid week are few and far between. Looks like we will match or beat last year. If the football improves next year should be the same. -
The new hologram app is out. It's free to download with a £2.99 in app purchase. I'm downloading now & will try it out & update with a wee review later on. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/app/virtual-rangers/id657333065?mt=8

Sounds smart. I will keep an eye open as I drive down loch lomond-side quite often. As a teenager I drove a Honda 50. My parents bought it for me and it was, wait for it, green and white. I used to park it outside Ibrox when I went to the game and it was never kicked over or damaged in any way. Nowadays I would steer clear of displaying anything permanently in my car but I have driven round town with flags flying and simply the best belting out after we won the SPL one year.
-
The system was available before 9am (see another post about it) and I tried from early doors and finally got the seat I was trying to buy on the phone with a very nice girl who had all my details. Lots of chatter in the background so sales seem busy though it's probably some central ticket sales place as the accents are all English.
-
I tried 7 or 8 times to buy a ST. Now when I log on again the seating plan is blank and I can't see any seats. I guess the system broke under the weight of users trying to buy? Has anyone succeeded in using it this morning? Now it's back on again but still not working to buy. Going to phone the ticket center. The ticket center won't even put me in a queue. Try again later ? Just as bad as last year then, but it's worth it of course.
