He's a hard guy not to like - gives good interviews, never hides in a game, gets into some great positions, always comes back for more, can score some great goals and you can imagine his enthusiasm for the game would be infectious in the dressing room. But those fucking misses...AAARRRGGGGHHHH!

Some "fans" on Twitter suggesting it might be preferable for Hearts to win as they would have the better chance of stopping the Beggars doing the Double. Yet, only 6 days ago, the Treble was firmly in our sights. You don't become a bad team overnight, so hopefully the spark re-emerges tomorrow - through a bit of Sima magic or whatever - to re-ignite the team for the run in. The alternative doesn't really bear thinking about.

Gonna have to be Dessers... On reflection scrub that suggestion !

Can see that sellick side stumbling in the run in - however we are as likely to unfortunately... Hopefully Yilmaz is available for parkpaed to power those long crosses in from the left - their defence just couldn't deal with them.

Welcome to Rangers, Philippe Clement!
MVRanger replied to Davy Vandenbroucke's topic in Jimmy Bell's Kitroom
Phil looked a bit shell-shocked but can't afford to be too scathing as he will be relying on the same players on Sunday to - somehow - put in a performance. Taking a step back, it might be that something has happened in the background to account for the complete collapse from the confident, flowing football that probably peaked in blasting Hearts 5- 0 not so long ago. Whether it's some players being told their time is up or whatever, I don't know, but the wheels have come off to an alarming degree and Clement looks at a complete loss as to how to address it. -

Bigger picture is that Clement absolutely deserves a close season to make some changes. However, the sad reality is that he will be operating in the bargain-basement with limited resources whilst seliick will be better equipped to further strengthen with guaranteed CL cash and a possible £20 million for O'Riley. The fact is that money talks in diddy leagues like the SPFL and the resources gap to sellick may be unbridgeable no matter how good Clement proves to be. -

Given how abysmal that performance was, that is actually a point gained. Not that it will help mind you - we will get absolutely steam-rollered at Parkpaed if we play like these last 2 games. -

The lack of creativity and guile up front is staggering for a team that is - technically at least - in a close title race. Form has dropped off to a jaw-dropping degree and big Phil looks totally bewildered. -
Bottom line is he needs 5 good chances to convert one goal. In a tight title race, we all knew (and so must have Clement) that stat would be our un-doing - and so it has proved unfortunately.

Rodgers is one lucky manager. They have been bang average and were there for the taking - now looking good for a Double and another £50 million guaranteed. There is no point in going over that match from our point of view. We all know the failings :-Dessers blah, Barisic, blah, bottlers, blah etc. BTW, County were outstanding and deserve all the plaudits coming their way. -

That will be another Rangers challenge that Rodgers has seen off. See you in May right enough... -

Utterly dis-spiriting to know that - even if we do create a good chance - Dessers will inevitably fluff it. -

Clement needs to insert a Howitzer into a few ring-pieces at half time (metaphorically speaking of course). -

I have run out of adjectives to adequately describe Dessers' lack of composure and competence in front of goal. -
