There's no doubt the Lionesses are tactically ahead of the men's team with their ability to adjust to each situation with minimal managerial input during the game. Technically we've seen some impressive goals (2 in the final plus at least 2 from Russo and others during the tournament).
Maybe not as physical or as quick but it's a different game to the mens game and, often, more enjoyable. Refreshing to see an England team all playing for each other and with a confidence rarely seen with their male counterparts. 

only really seen that in America where the Women’s national team generate more revenue than the men’s but we’re until recently paid about 10%. Personally, I think it makes a huge amount of sense for clubs to invest massive sums into the women’s game over time as there is a market there for it and as the quality improves, so will the profitability. The three biggest attendances in UEFA competitions this year have all been women’s games that attracted over 80,000 fans each. It would be stupid to ignore the potential there.

I don’t get why it’s constantly compared to the men’s game. If I sat and started comparing our game at the weekend to, say, the best of the PL or La Liga etc it would be rightly shouted down due to budget differences etc. However it’s seemingly entirely normal to expect the women’s game to be on par with the elite men’s side
