Far from superb article I would say D'Art. He can't help but trying to tar us with the same tainted brush. We as a Club/institution are not obsessed by them as they are with us.
-
Not a peep about it on reporting Scotland earlier...
There was actually......maybe you sneezed and missed it....no film or pictures, just Jackie Bird reporting for a few seconds.
-
Yes, a better comparison for sure.I wouldn't compare it to the Famine song.
I would compare it to the outrage when "bombs" were sent to Lennon and the other fenian sympathisers.
The coverage and condemnation was absolutely OTT and saturation coverage ensued.
Just shows you how much the media is controlled by Fenian sympathisers or...how scared they are of upsetting the one sided peace process.
-
The media coverage of the terrorist suspects has been extremely low key in comparison to the huge cafuffle made over the so called famine song. I can't believe what I'm seeing in this country and sad to say but I'm glad in a way that my parents are no longer here to witness it. Great post Oleg.

Good read, doubt if any action will ever be taken even though the police should be investigating that bastard.
Are they not obliged to investigate if a complaint is made?

BP9...can you not see how having a "consistent and alternate opinion" to Rangers fans on a Rangers fans forum seems a bit odd?
-
........and singing the hokey cokey like they did last night in the square................not a peep from Kearney about sectarian singing, I wonder why?On a serious note could you imagine the press reaction we would get up here if thousands of rangers fans were getting pissed at Trafalgar square, jumping in the fountain (pissing in it) etc etc....

Blown out of all proportion to take the shine off a brilliant result.
-
A good positive result for Ally and the team disnae half flush them out.

Great post D'Art and thanks for the trip down memory lane Ed in your first post. Thank God it's about far more than just the football for the majority. It was the passion from the hearts and souls of these fans that saved our Club.
-
Their bitterness knows no bounds.

Straight to the Core D'Art...........of our hearts and souls.....Now, Then, Forever.

I agree and cheeky chappie is just as disrespectful IMO.Nice refreshing thread. I find it disgraceful when our "fans" call Ally things like a "cunt, arsehole etc". Shocking way to talk about Ally McCoist.

Great positive post. Thank you AndypendekIn response to DJW's take on our manager and his future, I would like to say that, come Saturday, the man should come back on the Ibrox grass and take a deserved bow.
Not, certainly, for turning out a free flowing side which has entertained us all season with swashbuckling derring-do, nor for snapping up some astute bargains in the transfer market which ought to pay off handsomely in the future. Just as it's obvious to us how we have been playing, we all know that it is obvious to Ally as well. All the online grumping in the world isn't telling him anything he doesn't know.
But -
For providing an icon around which Bears could rally when the times were dark indeed;
For standing up for our club when the world and his dog was kicking us;
For representing our club in a manner befitting his status (and how we wish others would take the hint and follow suit!);
For presenting to the world the dignified face of managing in Glasgow, in contrast to the infantile sociopath across the city, forever lashing out at enemies real or, mostly, imagined;
And if that doesn't interest you, for all that he did while wearing the club shirt:
He deserves another round of applause. Online today I was a but surprised, I must say, to find fellow Bears calling Ally for everything and loudly declaring that they would fuck off after the whistle and take no part in any sort of celebration on the grounds that the team and manager are shite etc.
Each to their own, but for me, at the end of a really lousy season of stupidity on and off the field, in and out of Ibrox, in fact right across the game, Saturday will be one more chance - who knows, one last chance? - to say thanks again to a club legend.

Good post.

Is that 5 working days for appeal? Also agree with Adoniram about statement being released by them.
-
Ah......the memories, thanks for posting. -
It was indeed. Three generations of us there today and my thoughts went back to being there in '72 when they paraded the cup on the back of the lorry as Sandy made his speech.

This, in a nutshell!Because its all they have got to cling onto....it's quite sad really...facts mean nothing to them! I blame the catholic school system myself!
-
It's always hilarious when they do this.....and you just know they've warned him to be on his best behaviour......and then he fails miserably on all fronts.
-
It was great to see Sandy back and looking so well........... quite emotional too.
-
The master plan has collapsed but they still can't quite believe it.
-
Hahaha I had a good laugh at contrast between them. The camera went from Ally (class) to TLB (neddy) to Charles (class) back to Ally and so on. TLB tried to be on his best behaviour but the true colours emerged before long. He just can't help it. How great it is to be one of The People.
