Love Tav, taken a lot of shite over the years but proved a lot of people wrong including myself. One of the few to captain us to European final. Class act.

The vast majority of their fans were great. As sore as it is to take Frankfurt and Rangers really should never have made it to a final given resources. In the end football has won two historic clubs with great support a marked change from the usual corporate BS fans that are attracted to the more mainstream clubs like Barca, Man City ect. 

Our Scottish/British drink and drug culture certainly didn't help. We just love getting smashed and combined with weather we're not used to, long walks, prawn sandwich brigade rich cunts and rotten facilities it was a perfect storm, hence why we were dominated by the German support. 

This is part of the problem.  I said it before the game, said it at the game and still say it now.  Why was there such an obsession with getting pissed at a European final amongst our support?  Hardly surprising we were so shite in the stadium compared to our normal selves.  
Everyone knew what the stadium would be like, and how UEFA would manage the occasion before the game.  The stadium is a shit hole and UEFA is UEFA, so how people were treated should have come as no surprise.  
It doesn’t make it right and so much of the planning and actions of those organising and enacting organisational directives would fail to stand scutiny in a UK court.  But this was not the UK, this was Spain on a hot Spanish day.
Shite organisation from UEFA has been going on for many years and this was no different, but everyone attending should have been prepared.

supplying water to private business is nothing to do with local police, councils may do this along with food and shelter for a major incident but this was totally on whoever was running the management of the stadium which will be Seville with uefa pulling a lot of the shots.

After having almost every possession  thrown in bins, from phone chargers to any liquids by the Seville polis, once inside the ground our entire section had one kiosk in operation. It took 30 minutes in a queue only to discover they had run out of water. With the temperature hitting 30 degrees supporters resorted to drinking out of the taps in the bogs, that was until the taps stopped working.
The stadium was unfit to hold a major final in every way.
 

I think we're all fucking gutted and  will find it hard to get over for a while, but as many posters have said, a  great  run and  far beyond most of our wildest dreams a short few years ago, still hurts like fuck, but I don't see why we can't be regular contenders in Europe in future.

Real big games are to get into the CL. Gio looks at the squad and where we need to improve.  Get into the CL and bring in players to give us a fighting chance of finishing at least 3rd in the groups, which would  at least let us have a real good go the Europa League next season and a stronger squad to win trophies domestically.

For the CL just under 20000 tickets with 14000 going to fans. 3000 with all homes and at least one away guaranteed and rest in a ballot.  Rewards those with aways but virtually impossible to get on the away ladder which is near enough a closed shop.
