  1. We are at least 4 players short to win this league.
  2. Europe isn't the league and you can't compare the two, qualifying through the group stages will at least give us more money for hopefully better players. The red cards you talk about, especially Morelos shows we are a one man team, on Sunday he failed to beat a 10 man side who were at the bottom of the league, as a matter of fact we hardly had a shot on target against them, so much for organising a team. Lafferty did score but you win some and lose some. On Sunday he used the game as a bounce match, stress testing players and also resting players for Thursday night, true to his previous statement that Europe was more important than the league and shows that his squad is built for the European contest and not this league. New players in January will have to be able to assist the strikers as the support play for them is repetitively poor to say the least, so much for high pressing, high intensive play as the most used tactic by Rangers is go wide and punt poor balls in, with most not getting by the first man. Its not all bad but we have failed in crunch games to even look like a football side and my biggest fear it could all fall apart on this Thursday night, hopefully not.
  3. You know you laughed I heard you laugh, you laughed You laughed and laughed and then you left But now you know I'm utterly mad And they're coming to take me away ha-haaa They're coming to take me away ho-ho hee-hee ha-haaa To the happy home with trees and flowers and chirping birds And basket weavers who sit and smile and twiddle their thumbs and toes And they're coming to take me away ha-haaa
  4. I'll get back to you once I have spoken to my shrink
  5. Contrary to the pish King spouts, we are not in a good position, good enough to be second best(maybe), we have no money to better ourselves with either a good manager or players. Gerrard stood motionless on Sunday because he now knows he can do nothing about the mess on the park, he has tried every swap possible to get a solid eleven and nothing is working coupled with a team riddled with inexperience with respect of winning the league.
  6. We are getting desperate now, how's about an old fashioned approach, the players just aren't good enough and the manager isn't far behind either.
  7. Flapper Goldson, we have had four managers who don't know what a good CB is.
  8. The defence still can't defend set pieces although in open play the poor midfield don't help.
  9. The only problem with that argument is there is nobody better than them, but your not wrong.
  10. I don't know why a lot of posters on RM seem to think we are good enough to win the league when we haven't got one good CB out of four, a useless left back and not one decent midfielder. In every crunch game the above player summary shows up big time and there is nothing Gerrard can do about it without money. Aberdeen were twice the side Rangers were, better organised and looked more dangerous in attack, even the ref gave us a hand up with the sending off and we still looked shit and when chances came we squandered them like a second rate team. He has nothing on the bench to come on and sort the problem either, really depressing.
  11. If they get the culprit he will be done, unlike the culprits at the effigy trial, just another trivial matter.
  12. Nothing to do with clues about football , the three CBs aren't good enough and it shows backed by the managers comments, or doesn't he have a clue about football either. As for Izaguirre, he is backup for Tierney and the younger player at left back position, third choice with a wealth of experience of Scottish football at 32, your a right font of knowledge with that pathetic example.
  13. The problem doesn't lie with players coming back, its with Rangers FC, bringing them back in desperation because of lack of money. Lets move on from six years ago FFS, its more like back to the future while the scum are moving forward. At the moment we are talking up a 39 year old CB because flapper Goldson and static Katic and Worrel are just too inexperienced, crumble under pressure and have no presence in their own box and are suspect in the air. I can see why Davis could be asked back as we have no experienced players in midfield and with him costing nothing, well there's the reality.
  14. Both teams have been blamed and Spartak have another 3 cases to answer for, flares, objects thrown and blocking stairways.
  15. What about Spartan fans and flares, funny how our media can't wait to get it out there.
  16. Doesn't exactly fill me with confidence saying he is better that what we have had, he flaps like fuck under pressure and Katic is so slow and doesn't read the game very well, just like you say very inexperienced. Also the both of them are shit in the air causing the manager to say we need to learn how to defend set pieces better.
  17. Is that a tranny band, all victims of child abuse by the catholic church.
  18. Whoosh, right over their heads BA, you are wasting your time on here as a lot of posters have just learned how to say potato.
  19. He was problematic, I think he was more of a striker than a midfielder.
  20. There is two players back at Rangers who left us in the lurch, Lafferty and McGregor and at the time they were called backstabbing bastards, Judas, now the same fans have welcomed them back with open, grateful and complimentary arms, fucking hypocrites to round on another foolish Rangers player to satisfy their lust to hate someone.
  21. The players we are playing against in Scotland are lucky to be earning £3000/week, why would we need to spend £150k to get quality to beat them?. We had the quality to score 4 legal goals in one half on Thursday night against a team who have been in Europe longer than us recently, I don't think the problem is all down to money, its a very young inexperienced side at the moment, perhaps a bit of experience in central defence and midfield would give us the balance we need.
  22. He has a young inexperienced pairing at both CB and midfield who have to play in Europe against really good experienced teams and also dropping in an inexperienced teenager last night, its a hard ask and taking those considerations its amazing what we have achieved and like you said, he badly needs to cut out his errors.
  23. We scored 4 bona fide goals in the first half from our play and still made ourselves a laughing stock and the manager has to take the blame, misjudgement of the overall lineup and subs have been Gerrards failings all season, you could forgive that at the start of the season, but now this squad has been together for almost 5 months now and yet he keeps making weird selections with players who aren't good enough or on form, taking the shine from all the good work he has done and creating doubt going into the next game. Dropping Worrel for Katic last night and pairing him with Flanagan was a disaster waiting to happen and it did, both players are slow and cumbersome with Katic being inexperienced too and on the other flank we had the ever present sight of players this season cueing up to score with Tav nowhere to be seen. Gerrard hasn't got much options but he has to use them better to get a settled side, we may see McAuly coming in and talk of Davis coming back in January is a sure sign that Gerrard knows he needs experience at a price we can afford, I believe Gerrard is going in the right direction but I also think he needs to have a good look at himself before slamming players he alone has picked.
