  1. What an absolute fucking shambles. This club is going nowhere. This sounds like McCoist mark 2. Get it sorted be before we end up in liquidation again!!!
  2. Very much in the hands of the sheep rather than us. If we drop more points then as long as the sheep keep up the challenge they won't be able to win the league in the game against us. There's involved maths on the subject somewhere but frankly I can't be arsed looking it up. Edit: If they win all their games including the game against us and we win all other games till playing them, then after that match they still wouldn't have enough to actually win outright. However, if we drop just one more point in our next three matches then they would have enough by beating us on 12 March to rule us completely out of the picture. So far as the sheep are concerned, they have 5 games before 12 March and would need to drop 8 points in those games to be ruled out mathematically by 12 March.
  3. Clearly sarcasm is wasted on you my friend.
  4. We won't be involved in league cup group stages if we qualify for Europe, so that in itself should be incentive enough. Surely to god it is not beyond this nightmare of a board, management and players to get us a slot in the qualifiers. What happens then does not fill me with hope however and like some have said, if we're not careful it might actually cost us money instead of making it.
  5. I'm amazed at the pessimism on here. Yes I know, we've dropped points in the last games, but the manager tells me we're learning from these games. Every reason to be positive.
  6. I don't need to be told that they are Rangers men, but this club under this board of management will not be spending the sort of money it would take to land those two. Even if they were the greatest Rangers men ever, they still need money for their leckie bill.
  7. So not just one De Boer brother, but both? Lordy me. I expect that to help us, since they are such dedicated Rangers men, they'll share the wages. That will free up the balance of the £30m to spend on players. Just cannae wait till summer then.
  8. Serious question: Do you think that's the way he talks to the players at training or at half time? Cos if he does is it any wonder we go down like flies sometimes. I'd be sitting there going (to myself) Sure thing gaffer
  9. If you are prepared to wait 5 years, then I think you might find you are waiting in a much quieter stadium than at present. And if that were to be the case then the timescale for your plan to come to fruition would need to be revised given the loss of revenue streams that would ensue.
  10. Even if Rossiter does find the way back, how far down the league will we be. People going on about how the scum will get complacent being so far ahead. I can't see that as they are getting driven on by a top drawer manager and they will be looking to beat record after record. On the other hand, some of our guys look to have downed tools last night. I look around the squad and I ask, who's got the cojones to scrap it out with the teams in the top 6.
  11. No shit, OP Sherlock! It's so glaringly obvious and has been since the summer. Question: Why has no action been taken?
  12. As the cliche goes (a favourite one of Warbs?) you learn from your defeats than your victories. Timmy took that one very sorely and took decisive action. The rest is history. My worry is we won't learn one lesson from last night.
  13. Really OP, what planet do you inhabit? This club needs overhauled from top to bottom. We have a board who lie to us, promising wads of investment and not delivering. We have a management team who seem to have the tactical ability of "painting by numbers". MW says last about making substitutions around the 60/65th minute - "that's what we do" or words to that effect as if you go to page 62 of the coaching manual - Chapter 5 Substitutions! He also said last night " the heads went down" then immediately corrected himself when he went over in his mind "things not to say in an interview". We also have a set of players who don't seem to have either the maturity, or the ability, or the courage to wear the Rangers jersey. Given that clusterfuck, we will seriously struggle to hold on to 2nd place. Remember in another 10 games or so, the league will split and it will be us against the other top 5. The records show we don't do that well playing our peers.
