No probs mate. Believe it or not I’m not actually easily offended or looking for an argument. I just think with the current state of the shit we are watching on the park we don’t need to be looking to blame each other. I’ll now retire back to just observing what my fellow supporters feel. ✌️

Just trying to bring a bit of real life to the situation. The rank and file of the Rangers support are normal guys who have been brought up supporting this great club. We don’t ask for the pish that’s sometimes (often recently) served to us and tbf we don’t actually always just put up with it. On that basis I thought blaming the failings of the back line on our support being “special needs” was well off the mark.

Of course we are. Quite happy to move on but I’ve been asked to explain why “we’re” not special needs so thought I better get a better understanding of the term and following that whether the poster actually means the wider support or me and my family specifically.

Strong views on either side of this thread. After thinking about it I have to admit that my emotions probably have less to do with DJ in particular who was obviously a great player for our club and more to do with feeling we were alone as fans when our enemies were launching their bitter attacks. This is when I realised the extent of the bigotry and poison that has worked its way into the media in this country. I just feel the ex players etc. that have a media platform could have spoken out a bit more in our favour although they would probably be drowned out pretty quickly and unemployed into the bargain. Still at least it brings home how much guys like Jig, Super Ally, Sandy Jardine and the like are actually worth.
