Albeit big bilel got what he deserved, consider this scenario. Both Gers and sellick on tour pre next season. Both teams have key players sent off in different games. Rangers have their man suspended for first couple of games of new season which just happen to incl a derby match. Sellick do not have their guy suspended caus the ref did not report it. It seems a bit unfair and open for abuse that it is the referee,s discretion if the player is suspended. There shud be a rule in place.

I,ve got a great story about meeting players. Many years ago, think about 53, I was about 12, I was at cappielow watching gers v Morton. Davie Wilson was on the left wing and during the first half I shouted to him that I had him in the bus sweepie to score first in the second half. He shouted back, no probs son. We have just signed Miller and Boyd looks good for another stint. Surely a captain plays most games if not all, so why, unless he's being moved to the back, would he be captain. And again, he has baggage that would not really be apt for a Rangers captain in these troubled times. Miller, good to see him back for a season but he,s a mercenary, now decided to settle down, not the best credentials for captain. Now Wallace, stuck by us, has played brilliantly, has made some games easier to win than we maybe deserved. He deserves the honour of Rangers Captain. I rest my case.

Ally bashing aside, he speaks of 90000 season tickets sold in last three seasons. I am assuming he means since we were kicked into the lower leagues. If we consider we sold approx 38000 tickets each of last two seasons then by deduction it means we have only sold 14000 for this season. Come on folks, get off your arses and support the club.
