Cow changes her surname to suit the agenda. Memorial in Bishopbriggs? That's a boot in the nads to the Clydebank folk who raised so much for the "Fund". I wish these arseholes would wake up and stop financing this greedy, horrible piece of shit.

Just sent this to Magners, their main sponsors.
Feel free to tweak/adapt and send to as many of their sponsors as possible.
If and when sponsors start leaving, the press and the SFA will have to come out of hiding.
    “Hello,
I’ve been following recent court proceedings against a number of individuals associated with celtic FC and the details of what went on at the club and it’s boys club are horrific.
Another case has started this week and again the abusive acts of the alleged perpetrator appear to have been common knowledge but no-one at celtic contacted the police or acted to protect the children.
This is just the latest in a string of such cases and, joining the dots, it bears all the hallmarks of an established paedophile ring.
I’m aware of the strong bond between Magners and celtic and, although your product is aimed at the adult market, I would imagine that you would wish to see yourselves as family friendly and certainly not supportive of an organisation with a growing list of offences against children. What most people find almost as intolerable is the lengths that celtic FC went to to cover up these cases and to protect the perpetrators.
There are now completed cases against representatives and employees of celtic FC on the record with another under way and more to follow and Magners is providing financial support to this organisation.
The loss of my custom as a consumer of your product may not be significant to you but, be assured that I am not alone in rethinking my choice of drink when my preferred choice is indirectly funding an organisation where protecting their good (sic) name was deemed more important than protecting children in their care.
Can you please let me know your company’s view on this and also, if the current state of affairs does NOT merit a review of your sponsorship/connection with celtic FC, can you please give me an idea just how bad it has to get?
    Thank you for your time,
    Regards.....”

Everyone should be contacting their MP, MSP to demand action. It’s for public protection and justice against child abuse.

This is the template that I sent on to my local MP and MSP..........

    Good Afternoon Aileen

I made a similar request to my local MP Angela Crawley and have had information passed back stating that the request would be better directed to you.

I am writing to note my deep concern and shock regarding the recent trial and conviction of Jim Torbett, formerly of celtic Boys club.

It has come to light throughout the course of the trial that Mr. Torbett was one of a number of individuals involved with celtic Football Club whom engaged in systematic abuse of underage boys. It has also come to light that celtic FC was aware of this abuse as early as the mid 70’s, and has actively attempted to cover it up.

Now that victims are speaking out, and as has been widely reported, many more have sought legal representation, celtic FC has attempted to shamelessly distance themselves from their past moral wrongs. Given that the evidence points to a scale of abuse far beyond anything seen in British sport before, it is my view that celtic FC cannot, and should not, go unpunished for these serious moral and institutional failings.

With another conviction being made last week, it is ultimately and unfortunately painting the picture of a paedophile ring being in place within the club. What is worse is that the connections between each guilty party would also lead to the belief that senior figures in the club knew about these hideous crimes but have chosen to ignore. As you will be well aware, child protection law states that knowing of such activity and not acting shall be dealt with as seriously as being the actual perpetrator.

This must be raised and investigated from government level. The potential for a national child abuse scandal is looming as more victims make it known of their past abuse.

The potential scale of this catastrophe reaches across the country and beyond, and it is my view that the government must become involved, not simply to oversee the case, but to make sure that justice is served. Justice for the tens and potentially hundreds of children abused from as young as 4 years of age under the cloak of celtic FC.

Within Scotland at present there seems to be somewhat of a media silence towards this subject, with very little broadcast time being given. More so, there has been no mention from the First Minister Nicola Sturgeon, although she did find time to discuss an incident where Neil Lennon was struck by a coin. I ask the question, which is worse by scale, being struck by a coin or institutionalised child abuse? Likewise no mention or action has been forthcoming from the Scottish Football Association, which I find quite staggering.

Miscarriage of justice is not an option here, just as it was not an option in the case of Penn State. As such, I urge you to keep abreast of the case as raise this topic within government. The scale of abuse is such that celtic cannot be allowed to subvert the judicial process.

    I include the link below from a change.org petition where over 22,000 people, and counting, have signed asking for action to be taken;
    https://www.change.org/p/british-goverment-petition-to-get-celtics-cover-up-investigated-bb3f86f7-1cad-4db7-89fa-8396a3bad6e0
As someone who works within the area of sport, physical activity and health, with a specific remit towards child protection, I have an interest in action being required to drive future policy, procedure, good practice in these areas for all young people to ensure nothing like this can ever happen again.

I also believe that as each conviction is made, with further cases awaiting trial, all linked to the club and with clear links between each guilty party, that a national scandal is emerging and I am shocked that there has been no call for national investigations from Government level through to the governing body for football. Actions need to be taken.

I look forward to hearing from you.

    Sincerely

I will not be surprised if it comes out the Directors were involved and not merely turning a blind eye.

What will it take for this to be called out for what it is, a Paedophile ring in a football club.

how many is that now? How many does it take before people start calling it what it is - that a paedophile ring operated at celtic park with the direct knowledge of a number of Directors and upper management?

Well I had a reply today from my local MP who has stated that the matter is a such importance and concern that it should go overher head to an MSP. She named Aileen Campbell, so I’ve been into her this afternoon and lodged it there.
Dont fuck about people, the more asking questions and for action the more chance you have of getting a response.

The very fact that the Scottish footballing authorities are unwilling to act possibly shows that there is more than torbett and his gang involved in this, they've covered for him for decades he's maybe covering for other nameless (so far) perpetrators at a higher level.
